It’s best trash can to suit or cozy kitchen.. good looks and works great. If it was rechargeable , it would be amazing though.

Nice height and size. It holds regular tall kitchen bags. I find it very useful when I my hands are full of garbage. I especially like the fact that it will stay in the open position by hitting a button, as that can be useful. It cleans up easily, Friends came to visit and they liked it so much, they bought one. I did buy it on sale, though. I think the original price is a little steep.

Clean and sturdy. A very functional and aesthetically pleasing necessity for your home. The hinge being on the inside of the lid instead of the edge of it ensures that it won't be hitting or scraping any decorative paneling. The stay-open button is great too! Battery life could be improved but we use it several dozens of times a day

Great product. We have really liked this trash can so far. It is much easier to use than a step on one that falls forward and wonderful that it is hands free to open. Our dog has learned how to open it so if you have a smart/mischievous dog you’ll need to keep them away. I would suggest a higher end battery as they do run out fairly quickly if using generic. Make sure to place it somewhere it will not be opened unnecessarily to preserve battery life.

I have had this automatic trash can for a few weeks. I love it. The fact that I don’t have to touch anything is nice. When not open it seals so well that there is no smell in the room. It is easy to change the bags so they don’t show. I haven’t had it long enough to get a sense on how long the batteries last. It’s one of those items I didn’t absolutely need but very happy I purchased it.

I purchased this trash can a few years ago and have had no issues with it whatsoever. The clean look is beautiful with my other stainless steal kitchen appliances. The motion sensor works perfectly for the lid to open as needed. I like it so much, I purchased another one for a wedding gift for a coworker.

Got this on sale, and it functions as expected. It’s nice not having to touch a lid to dispose of garbage, and it’s relatively easy to maintain. Some have commented on the lid getting stuck or ceasing to work. I haven’t had that experience, but I do find that the batteries need to be changed every few months depending on frequency of use.

Clean and great stainless steel finish. It is easy to clean and allows the removal of the trash. The outer ring allows you to hide the trash bag top end so it doesn't stick out. Smart sensir works great and so far no issue. All in all a great product for it purpose.

This trash can is great. You can open the lid and turn it off and the lid will stay open for high traffic areas or if you have a lot of guests, or you can just leave it like it is, and it opens when you approach it. It's very neat looking and chic. I bought this when it was on sale. It has an extra removable ring around it to hold your trash bag in place as well venting holes in the bottom so that you can more easily shove your 13 gallon trash bag down in there, and the air will escape that gets caught between the trash can and the plastic liner. It's less bulky than the plastic Rubbermaid trash cans, making it more efficient. It uses 2 DD batteries. But as I stated, you can use it without batteries if you want to manually open it, but why would you?

The lid takes getting used to. As other reviews have posted you have to position your hand above it for a couple of seconds as opposed to waving it. It works great after learning that. If there was a way to change the sensitivity to make it open quicker, I’d give it 5 stars but the delay opening can be a little annoying if you have something dripping.

Was able to get this when it was on sale so it was cheap for me. Works great, requires 2 D batteries don't know how long they'll last since i just pit them in last week. The sensor is pretty good. It doesn't open when i walk past it or anything, i just reach toward the lid and it opens so it does do what i want. Putting i the trash bags is also very simple. So far works great no issues so far.

Worth it for the price. It easily opens when a hand waves slowly over the sensor. I do wish the lid would close if I waved a hand over the sensor again while it was open. It does stay open for about 3 seconds before closing. Not a deal breaker but still helpful to know.

This is a good size trash can that looks good. The motion sensor is active but not overactive fortunately. The rectangular shape allows it to fit in several locations and looks good with the appliances.

I bought this a year ago for my kitchen and i just purchased the smaller one for my bathroom. I really like it. There is no need to use your hands or feet to open it. Sometimes it is a bit sensitive to movement when you walk near by, but it is not that bad. I think this was a great buy! I recommend.

A big upgrade from my last trash can. I am a germaphobe, and not having to touch the trash can is such a nice convenience for me.

Excellent purchase. This trashcan is well designed visually and works mechanically very well. It is extremely simple to put together in a very short time. I recommend it highly to anyone who wants a modern, attractive and efficient Trashcan.
