But even using my wireless charging mouse, you can’t simply place it on the pad. You kind of have to move it around until it is just right before it will charge your device.

The phone had to be placed exactly diagonally (I checked this with my wife’s phone too.). And sometimes even after the light blinked saying it was charging, it wouldn’t. I ended up throwing this in trash (it was past my return window). Absolutely not buying it again.
