Overheats and shuts off

Not my phone or cover, Got a different branded charger made by same manufacturer as my phone and it works great. Not only would I not recommend you buy it, but if you have one would worry it could be a fire risk

Simply, this charger works when it feels like it. I have tried different phones on it and the charger will activate and start to charge, but then it stops - for no apparent reason: The phone wasn't touched, was not fully charged, etc. Countless times I have set my phone down and had it start to charge, only to come back later and find it has lost power. As the title says, go with something else.

Thank you for your review. If you use a phone case, try taking it off. Because if the phone's shell is too thick, it will cause extra loss during wireless charging and trigger overtemperature protection.
