Unboxing: These showed up well-packed and protected, which I appreciated. Nothing was rattling around, nothing felt cheap, and everything was organized in a way that made setup super easy. The cables and instructions are right there, so you can get them plugged in and running in just a couple minutes. Design & Build: Honestly, they look way nicer than I expected for the price. The black finish fits in with pretty much any desk setup, and they feel solid - not too flimsy or lightweight. The controls are right on the front where they should be, and the cables are long enough to route cleanly without stretching anything. Connectivity: You get a few options here: USB-C for power, a standard headphone jack, and Bluetooth. The Bluetooth works really well - switching between my computer and phone is quick, and I haven’t had any weird connection drops. Nice to have both wired and wireless depending on what I’m doing. Sound Quality: This is where these speakers surprised me the most. For budget speakers, they sound genuinely good. Clear audio, decent bass without being muddy, and they stay clean even when you turn them up (not full blast though, because then it starts getting a bit distorted). I tested them with music, games, and videos, and they handled everything better than some pricier speakers I’ve owned. RGB Lighting: The RGB lighting is a fun bonus. You can go subtle or flashy depending on your mood, and the presets look good without being over-the-top. It adds a nice touch to the desk. This pair of Insignia speakers are a great option for that want something functional, that sound good and bring some accenting lights to your setup. The speakers have all cables attached, you have a USB-C for power, 3.5mm jack for the audio, with the added functionality of Bluetooth. There is also a USB-C to A adapter if you need to plug the power into a USB-A port. The RGB lighting has a few different lighting modes, allowing you to match the glow of the setup, or add a touch of color with the full rainbow glow. The face of one speaker has a 3.5mm port incase you'd like to plug headphones in, a know for quick volume control, mode to switch between the audio inputs and a final button to adjust the RGB. These speakers have a good sound profile, whether you are playing games, watching videos or listening to some music, these speakers can handle them with no issue. The only things to mention would to be mindful of the volume as it can get a little distorted when turned up and that the mesh could easily get dented with the thickness. Being a little aware could help to avoid both, but for the sound and cost it's not really a deal breaker. For me they are great, something I was looking for to add to my boys setup as a headset was the only output he had for audio and couldn't really show anyone else what he was working on without just turning the headset up. You can't really go wrong with this Insignia speaker set, some versatility and additional of color to your setup for a reasonable price!

The lighting is cool to watch as it changes colors while playing music or a computer game. There are five lighting modes and colors, and one of the modes syncs with your music. All the controls are on the front panel of the right speaker, including power, volume, Bluetooth, and lights mode. The speakers have USB-C ports that you can connect directly to your computer to power them, or you can use a power adapter (not included). These insignia speakers have a frequency range of 160Hz to 16kHz and lack bass power, so don’t expect high-quality sound. Another downside is that the cables attached to the back of the speakers are not detachable. You’ll have the speaker cables, the power cable, and the audio 3.5 cable all on the back of the speakers, even when using wireless Bluetooth options. This can be inconvenient if you don’t want to clutter your computer with extra cables.

If you’re looking for a decent set of speakers that do the job for basic functions that are USB powered, the Insignia LED Computer Speakers NS-CSB2B6 do the job. They are packaged well and arrived safely. Everything you need is in the box so no need to buy anything else. You can plug in via the 3.5mm mini cable or the included Female USB-C to male USB adapter. Whether you have an older computer or newer computer, these speakers should work. In terms of audio quality, they are more than functional. I first tested basic speech and dialogue using a YouTube video with clear dialogue. Speech was clear and concise and even at moderate volumes, the speakers held up fine. Voices were accurate and easy to hear using my laptop computer. Remember that you don’t have separate treble, mid, and bass controls, but for what these are, they work well. I then went and tested music through these speakers and was impressed, again, for what they are. Sound was good in all aspects. Mids and treble were clear and concise. Is there a lot of bass, not so much but I didn’t expect much from these. There is enough bass that you knows it’s there. The LED lights are pretty cool, especially in a dark room environment. Note you can turn the LED lights off, which is a great feature if you need. You can control the LEDs by the press of a button. These 2.0 speakers give good stereo separation. Pairing them with my iPhone and iPad was a breeze. It was paired with 10 seconds. Music sounded very good. I was pleased. Overall these are a great set of speakers. If your expectations are within reason, you will be very happy. I’d highly recommended them for any laptop, desktop, or phone that needs a way to give some good sound.

The Insignia LED Computer Speakers are great! Easy to set up and I enjoy the color changing border and speaker. I have it set to where it fades into changing colors, it’s just a little fun option to have. I replaced my really old computer speakers with these sleek little babies. They were really easy to install. The come with a 3.5mm and a USB-C plug and adapter – but it’s not a power adapter, if you are plugging these into your power strip you will need a Female USB-C power adapter or male USB power adapter. I just happen to have plenty of those around, so I plugged the power straight into my power strip where my old speakers were previously plugged in. The cords, power and 3.5mm are plenty long, no issues running these to their homes. Immediately I pushed the mode button to change it from Bluetooth to AUX. It’s easy to tell the mode differences – green is AUX while blue is Bluetooth. The sound quality is excellent! I use these for my conference calls, Teams meetings and notifications. They are such an upgrade from my old ones. I’m excited to have them and use them more. It’s a small price point for a great upgrade to my home office.

This set of computer speakers are affordable and packs some features that I appreciate at the price point. The Insignia 2.0 Bluetooth Computer Speakers feature all the controls in front for quick access, which include the volume knob, headphone jack, mode button and RGB lighting button. Also included is a small usb dongle. You have three wires coming out from the main speaker, one of which is a USB-C power cable which you can plug directly into your computer of use your own power adapter not included). I usually use a gaming headset for my audio needs when gaming but I'll be honest there are times when I get headset fatigue from playing several hours and I need a break when I just want to listen to some music of watch a movie/youtube and this fits the bill. I can give my ears/head a break and just listen from the Insignia speakers. I’ve also tried out the bluetooth feature and connected them to my phone to listen to music with no issues, connection is fast and stable. Overall a good budget set of computer speakers that checks all the boxes at an affordable price.

These speakers are great. You csn connect them to your phone, tablet, computer or TV via Bluetooth. The sound is clear and balanced from such small speakers. Bass is minimal but sufficient. Great for music or watching videos. Highly recommend!

The Insignia 2.0 Bluetooth Computer Speakers with RGB Lighting are a great set of basic USB-powered Bluetooth computer speakers from a great brand. I have always really liked the Insignia brand due to their affordable, quality products and this set of Bluetooth computer speakers is no exception. Setup for the speakers was very easy and straightforward. A Quick Setup Guide was included which does a good job of explaining everything in case you need the extra assistance but all the cables you need are already built-in to the speakers. The speakers are powered via a USB-C cable that is coming out the back of the right speaker. If your computer does not have an available USB-C port or if you plan on using these speakers without a computer and would like to power them using an AC adapter that has a USB-A input, the speakers conveniently come with a USB-C to USB-A adapter (but an AC adapter is not included). A 3.5mm audio cable is also attached to the right speaker which can be used for a wired audio connection to the audio-out port on your PC or even your phone. Otherwise, a Bluetooth connection can easily be setup. When it comes to audio quality, I was very impressed when I first tested them out over both Bluetooth and a wired connection to my PC. The RGB lighting is a nice added touch but if you don’t want the distraction, the lights can even be turned off completely. All this flexibility from such an inexpensive set of Bluetooth speakers is very impressive and as a result, I highly recommend these Insignia 2.0 Bluetooth Computer Speakers with RGB Lighting.

These speakers work very well for such a small set. They have decent volume and the Bluetooth connection is very easy to set up quickly. By plugging into a USB-C port on my laptop for power, I was able to connect to my laptop using the Bluetooth mode. Kind of strange that they don't connect by USB, but the BT connection works well. One nice touch was the included USB-A to USB-C adapter. This will allow the speakers to be powered from a regular charger block or from a regular USB port. I had some odd results from using the headphone connection but I think it is my laptop since I have never used that port before. The speakers work fine from other devices using the 1/8" cable and plug provided. I will play with it a little maybe, but I've had the laptop for months and have never used that jack before! The colors are nice, I was able to cycle through the presents and find one that matches my laptop and tower RGB lighting pretty well. The button on the front of the left speaker allows ready changes to the colors, which are not to bright if used in a lit room. I think they might be a little too much for a dark room but I know that is what a lot of RGB lighting is for anyway!

These are a respectable set of basic speakers. No, they aren’t going to shake the windows but for basic PC audio they are an affordable way to also add some RGB ambience. The one thing I didn’t realize until setting them up is that the USB-C connector is only used for power, not as an audio interface option. Your audio interfaces are just the built-in aux cable or Bluetooth. I’m not going to mark it down for that because the misunderstanding was mine, but wanted to share that for those who may see the USB-C and make the same assumption about it that I did. Color options are few but adequate – adaptive to audio, “breathing”, slow color change, and then static color modes of red, green, blue, and off. Bluetooth pairing is simple and sounds great for what the speakers are, and can be re-paired at any time by holding down the mode button. Personally, I tend to run it over the aux cable for optimal audio response time. These are not “audiophile” speakers, no one should expect that at this price point, but they are fantastic for general media use, podcasts, or background music. These will service me well, and look good, sitting next to my work laptop for exactly that – probably better than the laptop’s built-in speakers in most cases.

These speakers have become an integral part of my workspace. Most laptops have horrible internal speakers and this has made my workday so much nicer. The size is perfect to fit right under my main raised display and the pair fits nicely from end to end. The sound is excellent, with a nice balance between treble and bass. The volume is more than sufficient to provide rich sound for any desktop. These are so much better than the speakers I have used in the past. The speakers are visually appealing with colorful lighting. I have mine set to change colors randomly and it truly brightens up my desktop. They are especially nice in lower lighting with soft glowing appearance. The cables provided are perfect for spacing the speakers and the input plug is adequate for most desktops. Note that these are wired without wireless capabilities. While excellent for music, they are also very good for online meetings. The vocal sound quality is exceptional. I highly recommend these for anyone with a home office.

I love these speakers. They are a perfect size and they light up when they are turned on. They have a great sound. I would buy them again.
