I was in a motel in which the TVs had absolutely terrible speakers. They were tinny and would have driven me crazy. I spent about an hour researching inexpensive alternatives to this. I found this soundbar on sale and, after reading the reviews and plodding through the bad ones, discovered that this would possibly work. I purchased the sound bar and an optical sound connection. Plugged it into the back of the TV, turned off the TV speakers, and the sound was fantastic. Better than any motel TV speakers I have run across. When I am driving, I take this sound bar with me for the motel. It always improves the experience and is light enough that transporting it is easy. If I stop traveling, it is going into my home office because it has Bluetooth and I can connect my various music players and phones to it easily.

Bought this for my daughters flat screen. She loves it. Plenty loud enough, good sound quality and she can bluetooth her music from her phone to it.

The sound from this has really impressed me. It is far louder and richer than the TV speakers. Of course it's no 500W high end component system, but if you just want a basic upgrade,this is perfect. The bass is surprisingly good, but doesn't rattle the walls. It's more than enough to fill a small apartment. The only drawbacks I have are: 1) Only 3 EQ setting, sometimes none match the source very well. Movies sound better than music. 2) No volume buttons on bar, must have the remote (so don't lose it!)

This is my first sound bar. My TV required the optical cable which isn’t included so I had to make an extra trip before I could hook up sound bar. Once I had the right cable, it was easy to set up. The sound is so much better than tv’s internal speakers. A friend who is more familiar with sound bars said it wasn’t the best sound, but I think for the price this is a great product.

Its a great sound bar. The quality of sound is good. if you are looking for decent and not high cost Sound bar , then this is the right one for you. It has Bluetooth connectivity which can connect to your mobile. Bluetooth will not work with few TV models like Sony ( as those TV don't support), not a problem with Bar but the TV specification. It do support wire connection as well.

This is not an audiophile's soundbar, but is very good for the price -- especially paired with a TV that has terrible built-in sound. It doesn't include a subwoofer, but does pretty well where space is at a premium. The remote could be better, but it could also cost double! We were looking for a decent inexpensive soundbar, and that's what we got!

We purchased this soundbar for a spare TV because it was on sale. The TV had blown a speaker but had great picture. This purchase was chosen due to price but we are amazed at the quality. We purchased two soundbars and the second was supposed to be amazing quality and cost more. This one rivals the more expensive one for less than half the price!

Though one cannot expect supreme sound from a bar such as this. However, for the price, it gets the job done. It has not given me any problems as of late and is working out just fine. I can blow out my ear drums if I’d like, but I choose to keep my hearing. That being said, it has a decent volume and bass for a normal room size.

Pros: Built in digital amplifier and EQ for 3 different settings, Installation Cons: Indicator lights are the top, not the front, so they are not visible from the seating position After I set up this sound bar using the Audio out 3.5mm jack from my computer to the RCA inputs on this device (cables included), I watched Terminator: Dark Fate. This is only a sound bar so you will not get the full 3D experience because it does not have a subwoofer, but in Theater mode, this is absolutely worth the on-sale price I purchased it at. The room is 15’ x 15’. The surround sound was impressive and the volume is very sufficient (I’m very picky about my sound).

This speaker is a great speaker for the price, I got it on sale for 39.00. This speaker is great for a tv that is in a bedroom or office or something like that I myself would not use it for a theater room but I guess if the room wasn’t very big then I guess you could use it. The sound is great, the movie sound effect sounds pretty good.

It’s a great value. Low price and decent quality. I needed it as my TV is mounted on the wall and the speakers seem to be in the back. So sounds were very muted. As a back up speaker for better sound, it’s great. If you want something to get that movie theater feel, you’ll need to spend some more.

Really great sound when using the regular TV. The base is amazing, we hear things that we would normally not hear. The only problem we have with it is, whenever we open the Netflix or Hulu app it makes this really weird and loud machine gun noise. Pretty disappointed that we can't use it with those apps but, otherwise it's amazing.

For a non brandname audio product this little bugger packs a punch. I connected it to my smaller flat screen bedroom tv (not recommended for larger family room tv) and it sounds great. Good bass and center channel response. The Bluetooth connectivity turns the master bedroom into a concert hall. For the price. It’s a good deal.

Most new tv speakers suck. They just don't make them how they used to. On many of the new flat screen tv's, i have to put the sound to 40-60 just to hear it over the fan that is blowing right next to me. That's not cool. At first i thought i was losing my hearing, but no, it's just the cheap tv speakers. I bought this sound bar for 20 bucks. I knew going in it wasn't 5.1 dolby sound, i knew it didn't have blu tooth connection, and it even lacks av cord connections (which that one did hurt a bit). I still us av on some of my gaming consoles. But It's very easy to connect (5 min's or less), It sounds amazing and loud, and clear. Almost theater quality, now it makes me wonder what the 5.1 dolby sounds like. But if you are just looking to increase the volume to your normal tv, then this will do it. It only has hdmi connection, so it's no fuss in the back. The plug is a bit of a pain, it's one of those massive brick ones that take up 2 to 3 slots on those muti plug strips. Other then that i have no complaints. It serves it purpose. So due to lack of av cord connection, and it's massive plug, i'm taking away 1 star. If i knew it worked this good i would bought another one for my dad's tv.

Bought this sound bar as a Christmas gift. The price was great and the sound is great too, they loved it! Easy set up! Works great!

Needed a small sound bar for the bedroom. Bought this one becuase of the price ($59), and seemed to work fine. Set up was really easy. Sound is good enough. Only problem was when streaming from phone or tablet, sound doesn't stream through the speaker. Would recommend for small rooms.

If your looking for an inexpensive speaker for a small to medium room this speaker is well worth it. Although most sound ars come with a bass box this one is ample for a small sized room using with a TV for movies or just listening to music. Sound is clear and bass is decent. If your in a budget highly recommend this speaker!

Considering the price and size, this is a very good soundbar. Multiple connection options and a cable is included for RCA or headphone jack. The remote is small but has all the functions you need. the various sound modes let you adjust the bar for different inputs. It gets pretty loud before it begins to over drive the speakers. Easy to slide under a TV or monitor to give you much better sound than the built in speakers.

I’m giving it 4 only because the remote is a bit slow and doesn’t always work. However this speaker is amazing. The bluetooth aspect is probably what pushes it above and beyond. It works great with my tv, but I love that I can also connect it to my phone or Alexa.

Item is pretty good for the price. At first i thought it needed more of a fuller sound but then i realized it has different sound settings and it ended up exceeding my expectations. Please keep in mind that you cant compare this to a $300 soundbar with subwoofer but this definitely worked for what i needed it for.
