I like this Mini Soundbar so much that I bought a second one. Obviously, it isn't for big sound. Its sound quality is not great, but good enough. But what a bargain! I was looking for computer speakers to connect to a monitor I use with my Nintendo Switch. This soundbar works great for this purpose and is much better than a similarly priced set of computer speakers! I has its own amp, AUX, Bluetooth, Optical, and USB inputs, wall mounting hardware, and a wireless remote control. I might buy another one to put in my garage.

It’s a great sounding little soundbar, the bass is really good for being a small soundbar. It comes with a template for mounting it. It’s also a perfect size for my projector. I haven’t decided where I’m going to put it yet since I’m rearranging my room.

Amazing quality for the price! The bass is amazing!

I was eying up the previous model of this soundbar for a few months, after getting an amazing deal on my 40" TCL Open Box Fire TV from BB (see pic, I store the TV in my laundry room and wheel into my formal living room when needed) . The sound from that TV is a bit tinny, not surprising given the size. Well I am glad I waited, and even got an open box deal on this soundbar! The best part is you are able to control everything with one remote thanks to ARC compatibility. You even get an HDMI cable with the unit - I ordered a 2' right after hooking up to get a bit less clutter. As soon as the TV is turned on, the soundbar kicks right on and announces "HDMI" to let you know you are connected. Will this give a movie theater surround sound experience? No, but it's got some decent bass punch and for the price and size with my application, it worked out really well.

Insignia is owned by Best Buy, so you have the support of Best Buy backing up the entire product line. Insignia enhanced their 20” Mini Soundbar, designating the updated model “2.0”. A significant improvement is: ARC (HDMI Audio Return Channel). ARC is a phenomenal tool that allows HDMI to serve as both an input & an audio output. You can connect your system with a single included HDMI cable, eliminating the need for a separate receiver. Audio input options: 1 x Optical digital audio 1 x 3.5mm analog audio 1 x USB-A HDMI ARC: ARC Dimensions: 2.55” H 19.68” W 3.66” D Weight: 2.2 pounds; Power cable is included. A remote control with batteries is included with this soundbar. Hardware for wall mounting is also included. The sound quality of this 20" soundbar exceeds my expectations. Dialog is sharp & clear; there is no comparison to the sound quality compared with the speaker built into a monitor or television. Do not expect a lot of bass from this 20" 2-channel soundbar; for the price, I was thrilled by the performance. CONCLUSION: The soundbar features up-front lights that show relative volume level. This is an ideal soundbar for a computer monitor or bedroom TV. With clarity that brings out every nuance, the Insignia 2.0 Mini Soundbar 20" earns my recommendation!

The Insignia 2.0 20" Soundbar is a very nice audio upgrade for a Samsung 32" QLED smart TV. This a bedroom TV sitting in a bookshelf enclosure. There really isn't a good way to place speakers or a larger soundbar, but the 20" soundbar fits very neatly under and behind the TV. The soundbar comes with a remote control and batteries, AC power cord, HDMI cable, wall mount hardware and template, and a setup guide. There was really no setup involved, the soundbar hit the ground running after connecting its HDMI port to the HDMI ARC port on the TV and powering up the soundbar. The default TV settings recognize and identify the soundbar, and use it as the preferred audio output. In addition to the HDMI audio input source, the soundbar supports an optical input, a Bluetooth input, a 3.5mm analog aux input, and can be used as an MP3/WAV/FLAC audio file player by connecting a USB device with audio files. The soundbar has Standard, Theater and News audio modes, and has treble and bass adjustments. Once the audio mode and treble/bass adjustments are set, volume and power can be controlled with the TV remote and there's no need for the soundbar remote unless you want change the input source or audio settings. There are also power, input source and volume up/down control on top of the soundbar, which may or may not be practical to use depending on the soundbar location. The audio quality is very good, comparable to a decent pair of bookshelf speakers. After setting the audio mode and treble/bass adjustments to my liking, I can hear bass very clearly and find that sounds like cymbals are crisp and clear. Volume is also not a problem, it gets obnoxiously loud before it distorts. Overall I'm very happy and even a little surprised with the audio quality. This 20" soundbar has great audio performance, a variety of input source options including HDMI ARC, nice audio features including canned audio modes and treble/bass adjustments, and includes a remote control, an HDMI cable and hardware for wall mounting, all for $25. At this price point it seems like a steal. If you are looking for a good sounding and inexpensive audio upgrade for your standard TV speakers, this is a product that is well worth considering.

This is a great budget soundbar. The sound is crisp and the bass is not like a full stereo sound system with a subwoofer, but you can push it up to feel the depth. The connection with the HDMI cable to the TV was fast and easy. Be sure to use the HDMI arc input on your TV. I had paired it to my phone at one point but have not been able to do it again. I am sure that is user error and not an issue with the soundbar. I wanted to play music from my phone through the system. I will keep working at it! The unit is very light at just over 2 pounds. Very easy to put in position. If you opt for the provided wall mounting, you aren't putting a lot of weight on the walls. I opted to put it under my TV on a chest of drawers in my bedroom. I needed to raise the TV slightly and found a way to lift the TV just enough for the soundbar to fit nicely underneath. It is small and sleek. I also like the "night" setting which turns off the light that indicates it is on. There are several modes- Theater (my favorite), news, and standard. I find that theater has the riches sounds. This soundbar will not give you a cinematic experience but for the price, it is way above the speakers included with my TV (also Insignia).

If you are looking for an inexpensive sound bar, don’t let the price foul you, this thing is really good considering the price. It doesn’t have a subwoofer so the only thing you won’t get is any kind of real bass. It does have an adjustment for the bass on the sound bar itself,it adds a little bit of depth to the sound but not much but at this price that’s completely understandable. Unboxing the soundbar the first thing you notice is how substantial it feels, it has weight to it and feels very well built, something you wouldn’t expect at this price. You get a remote, batteries, an hdmi cable and even mounting brackets for wall mounting the device. In terms of sound, this thing sounds much better than one would expect considering the price. When using the sound bar, there’s lights on the front that lets you know it’s on and Indicate the sound level when turning the volume up or down and voice prompts when doing things like selecting the source. If you’re someone who just wants more substantial sound from your tv or pc but don’t want to spend a lot, this little soundbar definitely delivers on that front.

Soundbar sounds great! We had to get one as we busted the TV speaker. Great replacement and small enough for our space! Easy to connect with bluetooth and turns on automatically when we turn the TV on.

In case anyone is wondering, this appears to fully support HDMI ARC + CEC, meaning that you can use the volume buttons on your TV’s remote control to adjust the sound bar’s volume when connected over HDMI. The product manual is vague on this topic, and I was relieved that it worked exactly as expected, making it very easy for my grandmother to use the sound bar without having to learn a new remote. Also, it very conveniently supports IR learn, which gives even more flexibility for using other remotes. Also, if you hold in the mute button on the provided remote for about eight seconds, it will disable the voice announcement of the selected source. It’s the perfect size to fit underneath a 24 inch TV, and it is a tremendous improvement over the built-in TV speakers in terms of dialogue intelligibility. You’re getting a lot of value for the money.

This gives my 43" ROKU TV just a little more punch. The factory speakers on most 42" TVs are worthless. This was def worth every penny. I can actually hear what they're saying now. LOL

This little thing is great. Has amazing sound, i wasn’t expecting it to sound so clear and so loud because it was $29.99, but it blew me away. This “mini” soundbar can be heard from the outside of my house and i just love it. 10/10 would recommend!

This sound bar is a great addition to our garage TV. It provides better sounds than TV. It came with a remote control, batteries, AC power cord, HDMI cable, wall mount hardware, drill hole template, and a setup guide. The wall mounting was super easy with the template. As soon as the TV is turned on, the soundbar announces "HDMI" to let me know TV is connected. I can control everything with a single remote. I has three sound presets: 'standard', 'news' and 'theater'. I like the bass and treble settings.

Overall its a great product. The bass definitely booms without much vibration happening and the volume gets loud especially in a small room (This is in my media room.) The connection was a breeze and can support multiple sources (Bluetooth on my PC and Smart TV, Digtial Audio'd on my normal flat screen) Movies are pitch perfect and heavy metal music is terrifying on this mini boss. Grab one if you can!!

Great sound for the price and more importantly is the User Interface gets out of the way. It has a series of dot-shaped lights embedded behind the mesh protecting the speaker, that let you know the volume and bass/treble settings. What's great about this speaker is that after you've adjusted anything, THE LIGHTS TURN OFF!
