We needed a new sounds bar for our family room in our basement. This was the perfect size and was so easy to set up. It has great sound quality and the bass from the subwoofer makes movie night amazing. 10/10 would recommend!

insignia 2,1 channel sound bar with wireless subwoofer is good for bedroom at good price especially when it is on sale it does the job! But if you have big living room for your main tv you would not get as good a sound! I have Bose sound bar with sub-woofer in main room. Much better sound for big room!

Good sound and bass from subwoofer. Good buy for the money. Getting tv to communicate with the soundbar was a little cumbersome but eventually figured it out. Would recommend for the money.

Great sound bar with woofer for the price. Sound is great. Seems well made. Was packaged well. Only minor complaints are: It’s pretty limited on the loudness. It has trouble remembering the previous source or automatically finding the source. It’s not very “smart”. The sub doesn’t turn off - ever. Light never goes off. I can’t tell if it’s in standby or not? Would be nice if it went into standby mode like the sound bar,

The first thing I liked about my new Insignia sound bar and sub-woofer, were their ease of installation. Secondly, setting up my preferences were a breeze. Third, the sound performance of this system is far better than I expected. Try it, you'll like it! Thank You Best Buy!

Crisp sound easy set up with Insignia TV. Initially connected via HDMI but for some reason does not stay connected but Bluetooth stays connected.

Hello Insignia Customer, thank you for the review. It’s great to hear the sound quality and setup experience were strong, especially paired with an Insignia TV. The HDMI connection dropping is definitely frustrating, and your note about Bluetooth staying stable is helpful for others. Quality sound for an affordable price! Set up via HDMI ARC was difficult. It was easier to connect via Bluetooth.

bass is good, but modulation of sound between programs and advertisements can vary widely. that may not be a soundbar issue but it makes for turning volume up/down frequently when watching network TV. The volume control on the clicker isn't that great either in that it will shoot up or down with different pressure or sometimes very slowly. But for what we paid, the system is ok.

Sounds pretty good paired up to my 55” TV. Deep clear bass , definitely can feel the rumble while watching sports games. My only dislike is how it announces thats its connected when powered up.

This soundbar and sub woofer are a great improvement over the standard flat screen sound. It much easier to understand dialogue and music and special effects sound more realistic. Excellent value for the price.

Given the price point, one should not expect this to be a fantastic soundbar. I used it on my PC to replace in-monitor speakers. This soundbar was an improvement over those, and would have been *adequate* for watching videos or playing some music in the background, but anyone wanting an immersive movie or gaming experience should be looking for something better. I did not try this on a TV setup so I don't know how it would fare when sitting more than two feet away as it was in front of my monitor. The problem with my setup is with the power-save mode. I frequently have the PC volume low, and the sub would seem to turn itself off even when the soundbar was active. The audio would suddenly sound rather hollow. But the bigger annoyance is while working, the entire thing would go into power save because my PC isn't playing any sounds at all for 15 minutes. Then the next time the PC played a notification sound, the soundbar would wake up after a short delay, meaning the notification would not be heard... but the main problem is the soundbar LOUDLY exclaims the name of the input when it powers on or wakes up. The thing was yelling "OPTICAL!" at me each time it woke. Seems pointless when it's just waking up, and not changing the previous input. It's possible to disable auto-wake, but not auto-sleep, and not the input announcement, so this is a deal-breaker for me. Using this with a TV, and sitting a bit further away is probably better as it'd always have some audio to play, and volume levels are probably high enough that the sub wouldn't go to sleep on its own... for small TV setups on a budget, this seems like it could work. For a PC setup though, not recommended.

Only downfall I wish you could lower the bass more than what it allows you to. Great for music which was our purpose for buying it. The wireless subwoofer is great also.
