So far so good, I wanted to replace my dishwasher with a washine machine, took a long time doing my research and not dissapointed I went with this option. It was the perfect fit, just what I needed, not to noisy and fits a good amount of clothes and the fact that is efficient is a bonus!

It takes longer to dry clothes than the vented dryer that i am used to, but it does do a good job of it if you select the right setting for the load.

I am in love with my washer. It is working great and has a lot of space. The only thing is it is heavy to move as I have to put it closer to my sink each time I am doing my laundry and back to its space. I think if it has wheels for its feet then I would give a five star.

Had this washer for 1 1/2 years now and no problems so far. Can a wash a good size amount of clothes and does a good job at getting clothes clean. You just have to clean the rubber seal around the door every few months or you can get a few drops of water leaking from the door, but this is expected with any front load washer. Is a good washer for the price. Is compact for small spaces, which makes it an ideal choice for us!

Stay away from Insignia brand, per Best Buy tech.

When My Insignia broke down and was completely inoperable after less than 18 months of use, I tried to find a company to repair it. After being told by every servicer I called that they absolutely will not touch Insignia products, I called Best Buy (as it's their house brand). For 150 dollars they sent a "Geek Squad" tech to tell me what I knew, that it was in fact broken. When I asked if it's normal for Insignia products to break after so little time, I was told, with some reticence, that it is not only common, but almost a guarantee that Insignia products will not make it two years, and when they break down, the repair cost is going to be more than the product is worth (since it will almost certainly fail again in a very short period of time). The tech was nice enough, and I appreciated the honesty of them telling me to never trust Insignia for anything past an HDMI cable, but the fact that Best Buy knowingly sold me close to 2000 dollars worth of garbage they knew would fail immediately after the warranty expired is emblematic of what to expect from this company.

Cheap and disappointing product! 1-1/2 years out of it and the inferior PLASTIC tub blew a hole 1-1/2x 3/4 wide in the bottom. Plus there is always a dirty water smell when you turn it on. I am very disappointed in Insignia and Best Buy and will never buy another Insignia product. The cost to repair is at least $300.

I just bought my first ever 2bd1bth place and I was lucky enough to find a place with a laundry hookup, instead of having to use a communal laundry facility. The convenience and peace of mind to be able to do your laundry on your own time, whenever you want, and not have to worry about other people messing with your clothes is invaluable. So I first originally went to purchase a full-size W/D set each at over 6 cubic feet. Well for a person living alone, that is WAY too much, but not only that, it wouldn't fit in the laundry space that I have. So I had to find one that was smaller. I checked out multiple brands but all I wanted was a simple W/D with no wifi, fancy bells or whistles, and that was quiet and efficient. I am SO glad I didn't go with a big name brand like LG, Samsung, or Whirlpool. All I read online were nightmare stories of having to service them and bad customer service. Not only is this Insignia brand HUNDREDS of dollars cheaper, it does everything you need it do in a simple and efficient way. This washer is near WHISPER quiet. My laundry closet is in the hallway of my place, and I legitimately forget its even running when Im sitting in the living room. For a single person, 2.7 cu ft sounds small, but it is plenty big enough for 4-5 days worth of clothes PLUS a large towel and even a couple of bedsheets. If you want to do large bulky items like a comforter, snow clothes, or 10 pairs of jeans, then yeah, you might need to break up your loads, but for the average weekly cycle, you can NOT go wrong. I love the easy to read screen. The easy to use turn-dial. NO WIFI!!!! Just turn on and go. And because this is a bestbuy brand, I can trust the geeksquad warranty on it. I have the geeksquad warranty on an old TV of mine, and it finally started to die on me. I called up bestbuy and within a week, the TV has been fully repaired and running as good as it was on day 1. Best warranty on the market. Knowing that, the money I saved getting this Insignia brand was easily allocated towards a 5 year extended warranty on this washer. Its already been 4 months of use and its worked flawlessly every time. I have now guaranteed 5 years of stress free service. Though with how smoothly this thing runs, I wouldn't be surprised if it lasted me ten. But even if I had to do a full replacement after 7 years, I would happily do it. They don't make products like they used to. Youre not gonna find appliances that last 10+ years anymore unless you wanna spend $5000+ on it. For the price, and for a SINGLE PERSON, this is an excellent purchase and Id highly recommend it. If you have a family, or are a couple, the capacity on this might be too limited. Though if they offered a 5.3 cu feet washer, I would get that in a heartbeat as well.

    Biggest, most convenient RV washer

    Posted .

It was an open box "good" purchase. It looked like someone struggled to fit it in a tight spot and couldn't. Barely any scratches. No manual, no box, but it came with a warranty as new. We were barely able to fit it into our RV. It took a half of a day to take out the old one, clean, then squeeze this in and re-install the doors & handles & things we removed to fit it. It is way bigger than our old 1.92cft unit by Splendide. We are at 2.6cft now I believe. It's a game changer for us. The appliance works better than our old unit for us. It's way more convenient to have a timer we can watch. All the functions work well and we have no regrets. This is the best case scenario for a washer. We want to upgrade to a bigger dryer that matches this unit. Apparently, they are either ventlesss or 240v units which I can not use in my RV. So I am looking because on the title it says one thing and in the specs it says another. I may not be able to find a matching dryer for this that is large in size. That is a big draw back for me. Besides that no complaints at all. Our 88 mile trip to get this unit at a big discount, was worth it. Thanks Best Buy!

Great little washer for a smaller space. We have a laundry closet that large machines don't really fit well into, and this unit (and the associated dryer) fit perfectly. They are smaller than most washer/dryer pairs, but that is exactly what we were looking for. They have a huge number of washing/drying cycles and are easy to load, unload, and use. Great purchase.

The unit is still new, but has been working flawlessly. it's quiet, does the job I need it to do. The spin cycle is good. sometimes, for clothes that really soak up the water, I like to put it thru another rinse/spin cycle.

I am very impressed with this washer! We purchased it due to space constraints, and we were not certain of how it operated - but we took a chance. We were very pleasantly surprised by how efficient and powerful this little washer is, and how it actually can accommodate quite a batch of clothing in one go. We love the digital interface and ease of use.
