I have owned several inexpensive flashing safety lights, and the big advantage these ones have is the design of the plastic clips. Unlike the flimsy integrated clips on most other lights, these ones have sturdy clips that actually rotate on the body of the light and can reliably clip onto even a fairly thick item (i.e. thick winter coat). These also seem to be more realistically water-resistant than others I have owned. The downsides: 1) As many others have noted, these are fairly dim, and unlike a lot of other lights there is only one flashing pattern (the other two settings are different intensities of "always-on." I highly doubt anyone could make use of the lower setting, so why bother?). 2) the lights use button cell batteries when it seems they could have accommodated AAAs with minor redesign. 3) the light bodies literally need to be unscrewed - FOUR tiny screws removed - to change the batteries. And if you're giving this any significant amount of use, those button batteries are not going to last long! Overall, the clip design is enough for me to be satisfied for occasional use, but I would be disappointed had I paid regular price.

I'll start with the downsides: The lights are relatively dim and only have one flash pattern to choose from. It is also annoying that they use button batteries when it seems they could have been designed to accept AAA, and even moreso that the cases need to have four tiny screws removed to replace the batteries. However, the lights have a significant advantage in the design of their clips. Many other similar flashers I've owned have had cheap integrated clips that don't hold well to anything. These have clips that rotate on a pivot and can actually reliably attach to thicker items. The lights also appear likely to be water-resistant as advertised (haven't had the opportunity to test this yet). For these reasons I don't regret purchasing them, but I couldn't necessarily recommend to others.

I like to run in the mornings and it's still dark when I head out. These clip on lights are light weight, bright and help keep me safe because drivers can see me.

My son loves to ride his bicycle so these lights were perfect. These were inexpensive, safety conscious and easy to use

We use these on our family when we go places with lots of people at night. We also use thes when we run, walk, and bike ride with the kids. Easy to clip on and turn on. Very bright!

Handy light to use on pet collar or clip to clothing to remain visible in the dark. Feels safer biking and walking on dark roads.

Great little lights for the price. I haven't found a better deal when looking for a quick light for running and biking.

Caveat~cell battery, tested those tiny screws-difficulty albeit did manage some screws to close. A snap on concept would have been better. On clearance great deal. Bike shop owner told me once that you can never enough lights on your bike.

Very useful, particularly when it is dark, to be safe.

Great light for the price. Took it on my commute run and it was definitely bright enough for the cars and cyclist to see me. I clipped it on my bag and didnt notice it but from the feel of it. It may be a little heavy to attach to light weight moisture wick clothes.

Bought two of these to add to two others I already have. Use them when I walk my dogs in the dark so cars can see me. People tell me that they can see the flashing red lights at a distance. Hope car drivers can see the lights also.

These lights are super bright. I clip them on my shorts/pants when I'm out before the sun rises. They can either be turned on steady or blinking. I prefer the steady light, as I don't want to upset anyone by blinking lights. Either way they are nice and bright.

I purchased these lights for my son who runs when he has time. Sometimes it is at night. I always want him to be safe. The cars will be able to see him. The lights are a great idea.

I wear these when walking my street at night. It provides visibility of myself to others which was my main objective. Doesn't really light up path but I didn't really expect it to.

Love theses running lights as they alerts drivers that someone is there when I walk at night. Keeps me safe!

The packaging is generic white, so unwrapped they make ideal stocking stuffers.... just add Christmas ribbon. I'm ordering 3 more for the active friends on my last~minute gift list.

I think we'll use these for walking, running and biking. They are plenty bright at dusk and in the dark. The light is more orange than red, but the visibilty is good.
