Knowing for myself that with some many USB plug-able devices out there that I wanted to try this item out and I got one one. Two days later I had to have a second. I am a Independent IT-Consultant and I found use for this on my personal PC Gaming Rig.

Although this item is recommended for Windows 10, I took a chance and installed it in a Windows 7 machine. I had to research the driver to find the correct one to work. Works great!

At first I was a little skeptical didn’t know if it was going to work on my mac but it was as simple as plug and play i’m now running my external drives at full speed.

Worked great for adding extra ports for my VR in a pinch, still works a year down the line. If you have time I'd recommenced looking at the manufacture solution, but as a local quick easy solution this works great.

Aftering adding the USB 3 card I attached my Passport 2TB storage drive to it. The Passport is a USB 3 drive but my machine only equipped with USB 2 and I wanted to see the speed difference. IT WAS MORE THAN DOUBLED !

I bought this item as a last ditch effort to get my VR headset to work. It was exactly what I needed. It was a piece of cake to install into my custom gaming pc!

I recently added an Insignia™ - 2-Port USB 3.0 PCI Express Host Card - Silver to an existing desktop. Installed per directions and was detected/working with Windows 10 quickly.

Installed into a pc to run a virtual machine. I was able to allocate the entire resources of the controller to a windows virtual PC. Worked like a charm.

I have a 10 year old i7 computer with usb2 only. Added this card and my external usb3 hard drives are zipping along when reading and writing files.

The 2 extra ports were used for my sons gaming system. We needed it so we would not need to plug and unplug his oculis rift when doing scool work.

Needed a USB 3.0 card for a PowerEdge T300 Server, Running CentOS 7 Linux. Card works with no issues. No additional Linux drivers required.

I wanted to upgrade my aging PC with USB 3.0. Installed easily and works well.

My only issue is that this uses an old floppy molle cable for power. Other than that works great. May be obsolete within the next 10 years.

Brought this to upgrade my home built desktop to usb 3.0. I have noticed a definite speed difference.

I had issues with the Oculus Rift not liking one of my USB 3.0 ports so I installed this card. Worked perfectly.

this works great with the scanner. if yu want to try 3d scanning this would be the card to use

I have A LOT of usb devices and using 2 webcams, this accommodates everything i need!

The 2-Port USB 3.0 Card has worked perfectly every since I purchased it.

Works as advertised when installed correctly. Make certain that it is inserted in the slot with the correct specs on your motherboard.
