I bought a new Solid State HD drive for upgrading my laptop. This cable is necessary to transfer data from old to new HD, but does not come with the new HD. Once you connect the new HD with this cable, everything works as described. Very easy to use

This product worked for my SSD. I actually ordered it to store and despite me not really knowing what to call it the employee knew exactally what I was talking about when I went to pick it up. Had no problems installing it.

Cable itself works well, but the end with the right angle needs to be shaved down a bit to fit flush next to a SATA power connector on a hard drive, otherwise it wont seat all the way.

This is a functional SATA cable. I'm not a fan of the blue color, but only a cm of the blue is visible from my compy's viewing window, so it's not the end of the world.

The description says this cable is black. It is not. It is indeed blue as shown in the picture. I remedied the problem by using a black magic marker on the 1 inch that shows inside my computer case, Yes, as others have pointed out, it's difficult to get it connected side-by-side with the power cable in a drive-- but not impossible. And just to be clear, this is a SATA II cable. It says "3 Gbps" right on the back of the box. Best used for HDDs or (in my case) optical drives. I wouldn't advise using it with a SSD (you should use a SATA III cable for that). Otherwise, it gets the job done if your local Best Buy has it in stock and you don't want to (or can't) wait for a better one to be shipped to you.

Had to get this due to the tight space of the hard drive and my PC case. Had to modify it slightly though. I just used a utility knife and shaved off part of the plastic that was a little too wide for the layout of my hard drive.

The cable that was in computer to begin with was straight on each end and not sure if this one would work with a 90 degree on one end,but it actually fit better than the original cable and worked great.

Was adding an SSD to an existing build, and ran out of SATA cables. It's local, it's cheap, and it works. Don't like the blue color, but it's not visible in that machine, so I won't complain.

Used this cable when adding a new SSD to my build and it works perfectly. The length of the cable made it easy to install and the angle of the connecter helps it connect properly.

I was upgrading a computer for one of my daughters. Her computer was out of storage space. I got an ssd but needed a sata cable. Luckily best buy had one that was perfect for the job and was inexpensive.

I bought a new Lenovo and the added a ssd which came with a cable so I added a spare hard drive in to the new Lenovo now I have a 240 ssd and a 1 tb hard drive and a 500 mb hard drive the cable was a snap to use in adding a new drive

The cable is of good quality and construction for form and fit with my devices without issues. It was just a bit expensive compared to other stores but I needed it sooner than later.

This cable worked perfectly. The right angle was essential. I thought 2 feet was too much, but my AT needed most of it.

The bubble head it has is frsutrating because it's hard to plug in anything next to it. I had to shave off a little bit of the plastic head with a knife to get it to fit better.

This data cable was exactly what I needed to connect a new hard drive to the motherboard of my wife's computer. The length was more than adequate and the 90° connector made attachment easy. The cable works great - as expected.

Good replacement for the SATA cable I had that broke. Only quibble: 90-degree angle makes one end difficult to use in certain circumstances

nice added angle for pc set ups that are cramped. paired well with my SSD with no issues. i recommend for anyone that is in the market for a SATA cable

I purchased a second hard drive only to find they come without a cable. I was lucky that Best Buy carries cables. I purchased this cable and it works GREAT. Most important is the quality for the price. Try it!
