The things I like about this Insignia charger is that first of all, it's a quick charger. If you don't know what a quick charger is, when USB charging first became available the chargers operated at 5 volts and a maximum of 2 Amps. Phone batteries were small and didn't take much to charge. As phones have become more complicated, their battery requirements have gone up. That 2 Amp charger would take a long time to fully charge your new smartphone or tablet. This charger is designed to keep up with the times. It charges your devices at 20 amps. That's 10 times faster than one of the original USB chargers. If you want to quickly top off your phone charge or fully charge it, this charger will do it a lot faster, while still being compatible with older devices that can only charge at 2 amps. While there are chargers out there that can charge at even faster rates, 20 Amps is a very good charging rate. The size is about the same as one of those cheap chargers at any of the $1 stores. The difference is that this one has prongs that fold into the back of the unit. This makes it nice and compact for travel. It's also 10 times faster, so don't waste your time or money on one of the dollar chargers. Buy the Insignia 20W USB-C Fast charger instead.
