Customer Ratings & Reviews

So I've been using this Insignia car charger for a bit, and gotta say, it's a pretty solid gadget for the price, it's got two USB ports which is pretty handy when you're on the road and your phone decides to bail on you, batterywise. **DESIGN AND BUILD QUALITY** Design wise, it's not winning any beauty contests, but it's compact and fits snug in the lighter socket, it doesn't stick out too much, which is nice, 'cause you won't knock it by accident, it feels sturdy enough, not like it's gonna fall apart if you look at it funny, you know? **EASE OF USE** Super simple to use, just plug the thing in, and you're golden, both ports can do the full 12W charging, which is decent, though don't expect it to charge like lightning if you're using both at the same time, and yeah, it does have this little LED light that tells you it's working, but it's not too in your face. **PERFORMANCE** So, performance wise, this thing does the job. it charges phones pretty quick, not the fastest I've seen, but for the price, no complaints, users mentioned it's reliable and can handle charging two devices without breaking a sweat, but just so you know, it won't do 24W on a single port, it's split between the two. **COMPATIBILITY** I’ve been plugging everything into this little powerhouse, from my old school iPod to the latest smartphones, and it hasn’t let me down yet, it seems like anything with a USB cable is fair game, I haven't run into any gear that this charger couldn't handle. But, just so you know, it's USB A, so if you're all in on USB C, you'll need an adapter or the right cable. **PORTABILITY** This charger is as portable as it gets, sticks into the lighter socket and doesn't pop out or anything, it's tiny enough to live in there without getting in the way, or you can just chuck it in the glovebox when it's not in use, doesn't take up any space at all, really. **VALUE FOR MONEY** Honestly this thing is a steal. It's not like those fancy ones with all the bells and whistles, but it doesn’t pretend to be, it charges your devices, and it does it well, no frills, no fuss. Honestly, for the price, it's a no brainer if you ask me. **PROS AND CONS** Pros? Good price, solid build, charges two devices, and it's easy to use. Cons? Well, the charging might not be the fastest around, especially if both ports are in use, but that’s about it. **CONCLUSION** Alright, wrapping this up, I'd say this Insignia charger is a solid buddy for your car, it's not the flashiest out there, but it gets the job done without fuss, if your ride's a bit older and USB ports are like gold dust, this little gizmo's a lifesaver, it's reliable, and from what I can tell, pretty durable too, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a quick and affordable fix for keeping devices charged on the go. Just remember, it's more about steady charging than warp speed, and you won't be disappointed. **RATING** So, I'm hitting this with a 4.8 out of 5 stars. It's not perfection, but it's darn good for what it is, an affordable, no nonsense charger that'll keep you connected while you're cruising. For anyone looking for a budget friendly option that does what it says, this is your guy

This is a must have for many cars and I caught them at steal. There are car plugs in literally every car and everyone with cell phones are frequently asking to charge their phone. I do not allow anyone to use the charger or charging cable that I use. However, If they have their own charging cable; I have the extra USB vehicle charger. That is the best I can do.

NEED A NEW PORT VEHICLE CHARGER WHILE IN SAN FRANCISCO SO HUBBY WENT IN TO BEST BUY TO BUY ONE. SO GLAD THEY HAD ONE AND BEST BUY WAS LOCATED RIGHT A CROSS THE STREET FROM GAS STATION. REALLY GOOD PRODUCT AND IN STOCK. I WOULD GO TO THIS BEST AGAIN. IT SAVED MY PHONE LOL.

Replaced my old car phone charger with this one. It works faster and does not get my charging wire hot. The price was right too

Does the job. Great price. Cannot beat the complementary coupon discount!

Nothing is worse than dealing with the anxiety you get when you realize your phone’s battery has just a few minutes of life left. This was a inexpensive charger that works, I give this Charger ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Perfect for my use—charges phone quickly-uses my old iPhone cord—can’t beat the price!!

The dual ports are great for the car, so we can charge 2 phones at once. Plenty of power. Fairly compact.

Double usb plugs come in handy in the car on trips!

No complaints here, charges my devices fast i would totally recommended

Definitely comes in handy when you don’t have one in back

It’s amazing and fast delivery, work excellent for charger

It’s really good but the light on the top of it bother my eyes at night because of the bright light, so I covered with some glue hhhh!

The product is good. For the price it’s deff worth it.

Would recommend if your other car chargers are too small to fit into.

Seems to work, but feels very cheap. And Best Buy needs to work on its delivery. Product box was open and looked like it had been stampeded by elephants.

The USB DC car charger adapter is an essential accessory for anyone who needs to charge their devices while on the road. Firstly, the adapter’s design is compact and portable, making it easy to carry in the car or store in the glove compartment. Its small size ensures that it doesn’t take up much space and can be discreetly plugged into the car’s DC socket. The adapter features multiple USB ports, allowing you to charge multiple devices simultaneously. This is particularly useful for families or road trips where everyone needs to charge their smartphones, tablets, or other electronic gadgets. Charging speed is another important aspect. A good USB car charger should deliver sufficient power to charge devices quickly. Look for a charger that supports fast charging technologies like Quick Charge or USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) for compatible devices. Safety features are crucial. A reliable car charger should have built-in safeguards such as over-voltage protection, over-current protection, and short-circuit protection to prevent damage to your devices and ensure safe charging while driving. Compatibility is key. Make sure the USB car charger is compatible with a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, GPS devices, and more. It should work with both Apple and Android devices, as well as other USB-powered electronics. Consider additional features like LED indicators that show when the charger is receiving power or actively charging devices, which can be helpful while driving at night. Overall, a USB DC car charger adapter is a must-have accessory for anyone who spends a lot of time on the road and needs to keep their devices powered up. Choose one that offers convenience, safety, and compatibility to enhance your driving experience.

Very useful. Love having two ports on a charger. Also it fits with ease in the car charger port where as others have been tough to get in or out of receptacle. Quick charging.

I have bought 2 of these now for 2 different Cars. They work flawlessly and they have a nice and small profile so they don't often get hit or bumped. They charge just as well as any other car charger at a much low cost.

Great little car charger, charges my phone fast, never an issue.
