My food spoiled and Best Buy didn't have the decency to compensate me for all of the money that I spent on delivery and for the food that spoiled from their defective fridge. BEWARE do not buy open box from Best Buy!

This fridge broke down on me 2 months ago and best buy hasnt done anything to fix or replace this product.

The lighting inside the fridge is bright and amazing. The shelves are beautiful and sleek. i wasn't sure i wanted the French door style but I am pleasantly surprised by how much i like this style. i am very happy with this purchase.

They use cheap jiaxipera compressors that don't last. The part wont be available if it does fail within warranty and youll be stuci waiting 30 days before the matter is escalated. It's not worth the hassle. All the good reviews are brand new units that actually work the first few weeks. The best part is if you go back to Best Buy to purchase a new refrigerator they won't wave the $30 fee to haul away your old Insignia french door refrigerator thats 2 years old and failed that was purchased at BestBuy. After reading other reviews it seems lucky it lasted that long. Look up the previous model Insignia 26.6 french door refrigerator and all of the issues. I doubt anything changed other than ice and water dispenser located on the door now.

I contacted Best Buy about fixing the seal 10 days after I purchased the fridge, and they offered to charge me $100/ hour to come diagnose the problem. I told them I knew what the problem was and could fix it if they would send me a new seal, but they refused.
