My wife and I needed a fast charger for our Iphones. We love this charger. Design/Build Quality - I like the small block, the cable is braided for protection, and it's cool to the touch when charging my phone. There's literally no heat on the charging block, impressive! The plug also folds in for travel. Specs - 25 Watt charger is perfect to fast charge our phones Performance - I can get to about 80% in 30 minutes and a full charge in a little less than an hour. -Pros- -Small -Easy to carry -6 ft of braided cable -25 Watts is perfect to fast charge your phone I can't think of any negatives at the moment. It's exactly what we needed. Save money and get this one!

I really like this charger combo. It is a great price for both. I like to take it on the go as it seems more portable. It does not overheat my phone and charges within 30 mins or less.

Totally worth the money. It cheap and it charge my iphone pretty quick. I thought the charger would get hot from the quick charging but surprisingly it doesn't, it continues to stay cool throughout. Im impress with the charger with how much it cost when compare to how much apple charge for it.

Many make the claim, but take 4 hours to charge a phone. This is my current go to, with a super fast connector charging my z flip6 from 0 to 100% in under an hour. FINALLY. Ill never buy another charger that doesnt say super fast on the box, but if theyre lying, ill bring it right on back.

This works well with the Android Samsung GalaxyA15 5G phone. I've used it for almost 2 weeks. It charges quickly. It doesn't get real hot like the last one I tried. It's convenient that both pieces come together.

Cord is sturdy and has a convenient length, charge time is about equal to the performance of 1st party hardware if not better (for a pixel 8 at least.)

Fastest charger I've ever owned. So good I bought it in white. The cord is made of a sturdy material that attaches to the plug in a way that it won't fray or break. Highly recommended

Since I needed an extra power source to power up my audio interface, this Insignia, 25 W power brick USB Cdoes the job does what it needs to do for me? And it was very affordable.

This Insignia charger, rated for 25W along with a very nice braided 6 foot USB-C cable that’s rated for up to 60W, is a great choice for those wanting a fast and portable charger. While 25W is not the highest output charger available, it is sufficient to rapid charge most devices. My Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S7 FE both reported “super fast charging” on their lock screens while plugged in. I tried it with a Pixel 7 Pro phone as well, and it reported it was “charging rapidly.” With a device that can pull a lot of charge, like my Galaxy phone, the charger itself can get really quite warm, almost hot. The folding prongs also make the already exceptionally small charger even smaller, making this very well suited to on the go usage. I travel frequently and this will definitely be taken with me. The included braided cord is exceptionally good, with solid connectors and an overall quality feel. It’s rated up to 60W, so it could be used with even more substantial chargers, as 60W is often sufficient for smaller laptops and Chromebooks. It helpfully includes attached cord management. You really can’t ever have too many chargers, and many phones no longer come with one. So whether you’re adding to the ones you already have, or replacing a lost one, this is a very good choice for charging a USB-C phone or tablet. It’s small and portable, and the included cable is exceptionally well done. Recommended.

Insignia™ - 25W Foldable Compact Wall Charging Kit for USB-C Smartphones, Tablets and More. Insignia’s cable / charge combination offers premium cable and termination plug construction featuring USB-C compatibility, a powerful charging kit, and a very compact outlet footprint. As you can see in my photos, the first element that attracts your attention is the nicely braided texture cable with its competently sealed plug ends. They leave an impression of long term durability that only time will bear out, but it feels great. And, the cord is long, a full 6ft. so a device plugged into the typical lower wall outlet can sit on a table top above. Thoughtful touch. It wasn’t until I popped open the spring loaded AC prongs, which are NON-polarized, and plugged it into my multipurpose outlets that I appreciated the charger’s size. It takes up very little space and allows most larger power bricks to sit adjacent to it without difficulty. Non-polarized plug prongs are both the same size, allowing you to insert the small brick in two orientations, both with small footprints, but one somewhat smaller than the other. The feature set, fold away, non-polarized prongs, small size are all thoughtful and contribute to a sensible travel companion. My recent devices, including earbuds, headphones, small Android Tablet, phone, security cameras and personal speaker all demand USB-C cables to recharge. I’m going to need this type of cable/charger combination everywhere I work. This Insignia product travels well, fits easily in all my carry cases, and most importantly, gives me confidence it will do the task. Recommended.

Insignia is Best Buy's in-house brand. As a general rule, Insignia gear is close to if not equal in quality to the "name brands" but is generally offered at a discount price. This product fits that bill perfectly. Inside you will find the foldable wall outles and 6' USB cable. The cable is USB-C to USB-C. The cable has a braided outer layer that is generally in the higher quality arena, especially compared to the more common plastic units. The wall plug-in portion is collapsable.This is primarily for ease of portability. The unit has a nice, high quality feel, with a decent enough "heft" providing a sense of quality. As for the fit, the USB-C cable fits into the head unit with a solid, tight feel. I am sure we all have had USB cables (think the expensive airport emergency USB cable you had to buy because you forgot your) that feel flimsy and do not inspire confidence. This is not like that. From a technical perspective, this a 25 watt, 3 amp charger. That is considered a fast-charger and will charge devices fastert han lower watt chargers. I couldn't find the data-rate speed on the cable itself but it certainly seems to move those 0's and 1s with as much speed as I would ever need. End of the day, this is a great choice and I would reccomend to a friend.

Out of the box the first thing you notice is the shockingly small footprint of the Insignia 25 watt usb-c wall charger. It measures approximately 1 1/4" (W) x 1 1/4" (L) x 1 1/2" (D). It has foldable prongs which make it easier in your pocket or case when traveling. These prongs also allow you to insert it into an outlet in either direction. Another advantage of the small size is that it allows you to plug another device into the adjoining outlet. The charger outputs 25 watts with Power Delivery (PD) and will work with 100-240 volts. It is designed to work with phones, tablets, smartwatch earphones and ear buds. Included in the box is a 6 foot 60 watt braided usb-c cable. Many other power adapters that include a cable, usually include one of standard quality. The insignia cable appears to be of the highest quality. In the box is also a quick user guide which lists Samsung and Apple devices that can be charged with this adapter. I have used this to charge my Pixel phone, Pixel tablet, Pixel watch and ear buds. In all cases, my devices charged fast and the adapter stayed cool during charging. Overall, I am very satisfied with the compact size, quick charge ability and high build quality of both the adapter and the cable. I would highly recommend this product.

This little charger is surprisingly powerful. The 25W output charges my phone quickly, and the compact design makes it perfect for travel or throwing in a backpack. It feels solid and doesn’t overheat like some cheaper chargers. I like that it has a simple, minimal look and works great with both my phone and tablet. A reliable accessory at a very fair price.

For those unaware, Insignia is Best Buy’s in-house brand name for many devices and accessories, ranging from USB cables all the way up to smart TVs and home appliances. Among their offerings are quite a few USB wall chargers and cables, such as this single-port, USB Type-C one with a folding plug for travel. In the box is both the power brick and a 6-foot, 60W-capable braided USB Type-C cable. This is key as the quality of a charge (and indeed, the ability for a device to recognize and safely draw on USB Power Delivery capabilities for rapid charging) is dependent on a cable capable of handling the sustained draw. Cheaper cables don’t have the wire gauge necessary to maintain this, and in many cases charging performance will be significantly degraded. Pairing a stronger cable with the charger is a good move as it ensures the cable can be used with most other devices without difficulty. The wall charger is slightly larger than a typical compact brick, but makes up for it with the folding plug, which is easy to flip open and closed and tucks away neatly in a backpack or handbag. Its charging performance is right in line with expectations, and perhaps even better than I suspected it might be for an inexpensive charger. The differentiator at this price point is the quality of the charger’s internal electronics, because lower quality chargers won’t output consistent, clean power and instead will deliver its rated output in “peaks,” causing most modern devices being charged to reduce their power draw demand until a safe, consistent level of charge can be reached. In my testing, all my devices were able to accept and draw the full 25W power from the brick using the included cable, resulting in very rapid recharges of my cell phone (a Motorola device with TurboPower) and a steady charge of my Nintendo Switch. I was also able to charge more powerful devices - my gaming laptop accepted the charge, albeit slowly compared to the factory 130W charger it came with as to be expected. No complaints here. All told, this Insignia 25W foldable wall charging kit does the job and does it very well indeed. It pays to spend a little extra for a safe, good quality charger, and if you’re in need of a USB type C cable anyway, the package deal is a solid value. I’ll be grabbing a couple extras of these in the near future. Recommended!
