Amazing Sounding Speakers!

These speakers are awesome! I neglected to look at the dimensions before I bought them and was surprised at how big they were when I took them out of the box ... too big actually for my shelves so I bought some brackets to mount them on the wall. They are REALLY deep (a little over 8"), probably to accommodate the amp in the right speaker, so make sure your shelves are deep enough. The sound is freaking amazing, particularly the bass. High ends are not reproduced as well, even with the treble turned all the way up, but that doesn't bother me. Having controls for bass and treble, in addition to the standard volume, is a nice feature. There's an output for a subwoofer but in my opinion you don't need it. I'm honestly shocked at how good these are considering the price I paid ($70 on sale). I highly recommend them!

The Insignia powered Bluetooth speakers are bigger than most Bluetooth speakers. That also means they are heavier, too. BUT, the sound coming from them is much better than a typical powered Bluetooth speaker. Good bass and plenty of power, they easily connect to your phone and stay connected. I like them.

My bedroom is a combo, bedroom/office. I have these installed on either side of my bed so I can use them for sleep sounds and I also use them for work music. The high frequencies are very directional, so they sound really good if they are aimed properly toward your listening area. I have a second phone paired with these and it works very well. Even switching from headphones bac to these is just a couple of taps.

Theses speakers are on par with other bookshelf units double the price. Couldn't ask for a better cost effective speaker to pair with my record player. Sounds great. Great Price. Bluetooth is a plus.

Speakers work well. I bought them for my bedroom to jse with my phones Bluetooth. Thr sound is clear and works well. I bought the open box offer. Speakers were in excellent condition; remote and AV/RCA cables included. The only item that was not in the box that is supposed to be is the speaker wire. Not baving the speaksr wire included as advertised knocks the rating down a notch. Luckily, I had sone speaker wire on hand. Quality control needs to ensure all items are included as advertised.

These speakers are great for small areas. There isn’t much power or volume there, so don’t get your hopes up. If you want any kind of bass you’ll need a dedicated powered sub. They’re definitely not Bose or Klipsch, but they work in a pinch. I hooked them up to my turntable and I was happy that they have a Bluetooth feature so I can listen to music from my phone as well. I have found that the Bluetooth does get a little spotty if I move around too much or use my phone for something else while I’m listening to music. The remote is convenient, though it’s really flimsy and I’m not sure how long it will last. These speakers aren’t going to rattle your windows or fully immerse you in sound, but they do a decent job, especially for the sale price that I paid.

I do music mixing at home for videos and one of my $1500 speakers stopped working right so I needed a quick fix. I can't say these are great professional mixing speakers, but they are great for reference. Music sounds good and clear.

+ Receiver built into the right speaker.
+ Bass, treble, volume and input knobs on the right speaker.
+ Remote controls everything except bass and treble. It's small, but it should be...
+ AUX, RCA, Reliable Bluetooth.
+ Bass you can actually feel, sounds right and not cheap.
+ Max volume goes up to about my personal maximum limit.
+ Still pretty good in large areas (I tested them out in the store)
+ Subtle black wood-grain texture.
Only con is that the treble gets kinda bad at higher volumes if it's turned up all the way... but why would you want your treble turned up all the way anyhow?
OK for MSRP. Really good for $150.
Any less than that? Unbeatable.
Extra plus: they sound better than my boyfriend's LG soundbar which normally goes for $250.
Also, they fit into milk crates perfectly. ;)

I bought a turntable and needed powered speakers to hear the sound. All the powered speakers were suddenly 400 or you need to buy an AMPLIFIER for 600 and it was sort of a disaster. Then the Best Buy Employee pointed out Insignia, which is a Best Buy brand for 199. That was the best possible scenario for cost cutting these days. The speakers came with three different sets of wires/adapters and I was able to plug in my turntable and it worked instantly. It only has one red/white plug outlet in back, but I was also able to remove the turntable and plug in a 5 disc CD player from 1999 and that worked. So overall, very happy. Sound is great and easily fills the room and I saved 100s of dollars.

I bought an open box. I wanted assembled Bluetooth wireless because i don't want wires everywhere. Main speaker is Bluetooth the other i had to run speaker wires so it would work. Called Best Buy transsfered 4 times. Guy said i didn't have to run wires to the other speaker. He was wrong 2nd speaker has no power supply. Sound great for the cost. Wish they would get support in the US instead of Phillipines. The guy that was wrong was in Panama. I would not buy again. They work well enough so I amm not returning. If you are looking for inexpensive speakers they are ok.

They're so much better than any soundbar I've ever used. I think there is a port to connect a sub but I don't know if it can connect any random sub. Regardless, for a small room or office, they're more than enough. Probably not worth considering if you have a very large room since it does lack bass.
I got these on sale for roughly $60 and cannot complain for that price.

I was hesitant at first but after the easy set up both wired and wireless I was literally blown away at the quality. The sound is very full, the bass is more than enough, and it can get REALLY loud. I haven't even turned it all the way up yet because it already fills my room. The best price and choice if you need speakers for music and movie watching. I literally spent 3 hours listening to all my music because of how good they sounded. Connecting through bluetooth after the firs time is almost instant as well which I love.
10/10.

I purchased these for my at home gym but I was skeptical at first because of the price but I went ahead because I’m familiar with the brand. Long story short the sound exceeded my expectations buy a long shot because there was more bass than expected and highs were crystal clear. I add my own speaker wire so I could place them in each corner of the room. Now I’m working out extremely hard because the music just keeps me pumped. I’m thinking of pairing them with a subwoofer for the movie room instead of expensive sound systems. Great product. But if you are looking for something to wake the neighbors, common sense tells you you’ll have to pay a lot more more for a system.

these speakers are the best. highly worth the money. the sound is really great and the speakers are easy to set up with a wide range of input cords included. it’s very easy to switch inputs and i have it hard wired up to my audio technica record player (phenomenal sound) and can easily switch to bluetooth if i want to play from my phone or aux which is hooked up to my portable cassette player.
all in all these speakers highly worth it. the only con is that they are what i call ‘shelf speakers,’ they’re made really to be set up on a shelf or similar and the sound volume/quality does go down if you aren’t sitting right in the line of sound waves.
