It might be my stereo, but every once in a while my stereo will reject the cassette adapter. If your stereo rejects the cassette, immediately return the cassette, because the problem will not go away. I decided to keep the cassette because I don't mind messing with it to get it to work. And I have had the same problem with a different brand cassette adapter that I bought from Walmart. When it's working, it's awesome! I plug it into my cell phone and play YouTube songs for free, or magazine articles that I've downloaded. It's worth buying and trying it out. You will probably wonder why you didn't buy an adapter a long time ago.

Best cassette to aux I've used that keeps base from modern tech, do have to turn said devices down a bit but still....

I didn't think that they still made these things giving today's technology. Then I saw it while browsing in a Bestbuy store. I have an older car that doesn't have bluetooth or an auxiliary input for that matter. This will allow you to hook up your phone to listen to your tunes via the cassette deck. It sounds great. At first I was having popping sounds coming from the speakers but you'll just have to turn down the volume on your phone. After adjusting the volume on the phone and radio deck it sounds just as good as if you were streaming via bluetooth or auxiliary. Overall good buy and good price. Would recommend.

Had a Monster Cable Cassette adapter before this one. The cable started to peel near the input plug, sound wasn't always great but it worked. Then one day it failed (same day I went to buy a charging case for my phone) and I found this Cassette adapter. As soon as I started playing my iphone on it in my 4runner I noticed a difference. Sound quality was better, wires feel more durable. Wire seemed a little longer too than the monster one. (loved monster products before, this was disappointing but this buy was a pleasant surprise). Pros: cheap, easy, durable Cons: You (like me) still have a tape deck

It works great and the sound is really good too. But it has a very short lifespan in my car. It breaks really easily. To extend the life of this thing: You should keep the cord hung up on you rear view mirror or just take it out and store it somewhere safe when not in use. Also, be careful when letting backseat passengers use the aux plug, it's easy to tug it too hard as the cord is relatively short. I haven't been able to find a better alternative, so for that reason I would suggest it to a friend; But with warning that I have had to replace it several times/definitely not a permanent fix.

Great alternative to getting a new system with an input jack. I love to play podcasts and music from my iPad and iPhone, as well as use the speaker system when I talk on the phone. I got an older used car which had no input jack. I thought I was going to have to get a new system. My son remembered a friend who had one of these. I decided to try it and it works perfectly. I can now use it for my iPhone and iPod. You have to find the sweet spot in volume b/t your device and the stereo system though. Takes a little adjusting. Worked so well I bought a second one for my husband's car.

The volume is very off on this one. have to turn my phone to about half volume for it to sound at all decent, but other than that it works well and is pretty clear. It's a bit pricey for what it is.

This adapter works very well. It allows this aging rocker to blast Pink Floyd or Zeppelin from my iPhone in my aging relic truck that has only a cassette player and radio. I will have to buy new speakers now though...

Very reasonable way to listen to music through your cassette player. Sound quality is very good, I am very happy with my purchase. Cord could be of a higher quality, but overall price vs. quality is very good.

easy to use for anyone. just pop in the cassette and plug into your device and voila--you have your music playing through the car stereo. Great for older vehicles not equipped with Bluetooth or CD players

Works good, easy to use, sound quality is good for what it is just dont go above 75% volume or you start to notice distortion

If you still have a cassete player, this is a great buy! Bought mine for like $10 and its not that bad! The sound qaulity is a bit off, but that might have to do with my car's sound system. Also Id add the cost of the dongle if your device doesnt have a headphone jack. But overall a really good buy!

My old one completly quit working in my 1999 van. I didn't know if the van cassette player was at fault or the cassette adapter. It was the cassette adapter that was at fault, it plays now. I noticed a little degrading of the quality of the sound but I don't know if the cassette adapter is at fault or my 21 year old cassette player is at fault. It still works well enough to play my iPod thru my van speakers.

I got this because I have an old Lexus with no Aux inputs nor a CD player. Wack. I only listen to my iPhone these days probably like everyone else. My original tape aux converter was from high school and it just died. (I’m class of 97 so do the math). It works like the way it should. No issues except one; if music isn’t playing the deck will immediately begin fast forwarding the cassette. You’ll have to push play to get it to read the iPhone again (or whatever you’re AUXing). It could be my old Lexus doing that because she’s sick of driving.

I have enjoyed it since I bought it. This was one way of connecting my iPod music to my audio system in my vehicle. It sounds very good. It is performing as good as expected.

This cassett is a Great implement for playing music in my 2005 Lexus which does not possess a way to play music from an iPhone. It is very efficient. Has lasted since 2017. Now it is 2019 and still looks and sound like new. Really, I could not ask for better instrument. And, it was not cost prohibitive, expensive. Material is sturdy and long lasting. I would certainly recommend it

15$'s dollars seemed like a lot of money for a cassette adapter. Cassette adapters are a dollar at the dollar store. I have tired the most expensive one's also, too the dollar store one's. But, after trying this cassette adapter. I'm very happy with the sound quality, unlike the dollar store version. Great sound quality and vey clear sound. Thank you Best Buy! FYI; don't waste your money buying the Philips brand cassette adapter from Walmart. Very expensive and just as bad as the dollar store version.

I haven't listened to it much, but based on what I have listened to, it sounds a lot better than I thought it would. It pretty much sounds like you're listening to a CD. Pretty good quality, but if you're an audiophile I'm sure you'll find something to be critical about, after all, it is a cassette. Super easy to use, just put the cassette into your deck, plug in your phone, and you're good to go. It doesn't require rewinding either.

This converter has surprisingly good sound quality, is easy to use, and did what it said it would. Good for the price.

We drive a 2003 VW Eurovan which comes equipped with a tape deck/radio...no CD player. I have portable, Bose CD player and just needed a way to access the Eurovan's stereo system. The Insignia™ - 3' 3.5mm Cassette Adapter is the perfect fit. it is inexpensive and works perfectly with my Bose CD player and the VW tape deck. We enjoyed seasonal music on our most recent road trip.
