    Bought this to use on a trip to Italy. Plugged it in to two prong European socket. Plugged iPhone recharge cord in and then connected FireWire connector to iPhone. Charge cycle didn’t start. Unplugged the USB connector and replugged it Into the charger socket and iPhone began charging cycle. Don’t know if this is a quirk of the iPhone (iPhone 6) or the wall charger.
