It is much more comprehensive than the television set I purchased in 2008, a Westinghouse. (That was my most recent TV.) I am glad to see that television manufacturers do not include internal, DVD players in their TVs anymore. (My Westinghouse television set's, DVD player stopped functioning after 1 year.) The Insignia TV has excellent, color qualities. I am glad to see that red, white and yellow sockets are still included so that I can connect VCR players.
