Insignia lies to profit and refuses responsibility

TV is only 32" in name alone, as the lovely people at Insignia like to say. Or, more appropriately "It's a CLASS SIZE". The TV itself from one edge to the other is 28.5 inches. The screen display is only 24.5 inches. Insignia refuses to take any responsibility for this and take care that their packaging better represents what their product is. I could forgive an inch, maybe an inch and a half difference. But 3.5 inches means the difference between using a your old wall mount and having to drop down money for a completely different one. I contacted support and they just told me to take it up with the complaints folk rather than taking any responsibility and at least taking a look into taking care that their packaging better reflects this, either by having a size closer to it or having the box specify 32" CLASS, which apparently is just this whole range of sizes depending on the company. As they put it, "We don't deal in 29 inch TV's. We don't have a class of tv between 24 and 32 inches, so this would count as a 32 CLASS." Lovely company you stand behind, Best Buy. And as far as the company goes, SHAME ON YOU, INSIGNIA!

      Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to review our 32" LED HDTV. I understand you found the TV to be smaller than you expected and that can be disappointing. Please, keep in mind that screens have to be measured diagonally and not horizontally. When measured diagonally you will find the screen measures 31.5" which is why this is considered a 32" Class. Also, the measurements can be found on our website or Best Buy's, but if you have any more questions or concerns about this, please, use the link below to reach us.

Major complaint is we cant get Spectrum App on it like we can with the roku tv. Too late to return it since it was a Christmas present. Do not recommend if you use spectrum. Its an ok tv otherwise

Have this tv and purchased it less than a year ago. The picture has gone out and the sound still works. Trying to get help from best buy, but they are saying I need to get a quote from geek squad for repair. Im not paying geek squad for repair on a less than one year old tv. Trying to go through insigna now.

This TV is NOT worth the money. Search elsewhere. It worked slowly for a few months after we purchased it and now barely functions. It's incredibly slow selecting, often won't display, constantly says the remote batteries are dying (even when they were just replaced), and it pretty much has to be unplugged and plugged back in every time you want to use it. It also turns on randomly when no one is anywhere near the remote. Spend a little more for a nicer TV.

Don't waste your money. But some good brand with little bit more money. I bought 2 tv. They both went bad same day. After 1 year and 1 month. Their warranty is good for only 1 year. So do not go for cheap. Spend extra 50 bucks get some better brand. Never going to even look at this brand.

    Not good at all

Very disappointed in this TV. Player's were fuzzy, the puck or ball was blurry, the adjustments were useless, as they needed to be modified when going from a game to a movie, and the screen--no matter what adjustments were made--was not crisp at all. I know it's a cheap TV, but even a cheap TV should provide a decent level of viewing. This one doesn't. Returning same day.

Received TV 8/20/2020. Stopped working 3/5/2023. So lasted less than 3 years. Had old box TV (CRT) that was 20 years old before getting rid of it. Still have Samsung panel TV that's over 10 years old, with no issues. Disappointed with this purchase.
