The cable is of good thickness; it is strong without being too rigid, and not too thin that you fear it might snap when twisted or stretched. 8 feet is an ideal length for my particular case because I'm primarily using it to connect my portable devices (e.g. laptop, tablet and phone) to whatever is available in the venues (monitor, projector, or TV). It is HDMI Premium Certified, so it is guaranteed for 4K Ultra HD, 18 Gbps, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, Audio Return Channel (ARC) for soundbars, and HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC). There's one level above this cable, which is for 8K UHD, but I don't have any 8K video content and there are not many (if any) available 8K monitors and TVs in hotels and conference rooms anyway, so this cable is just perfect for my needs.

Insignia 4k cable

However its stood up to me constantly switching between my laptop and main desktop PC about 3 or 4 times a day since ive bought it. Havent had any issues regarding build quality or picture and audio quality.
