Nice sized mini fridge at a great price. The freezer and fridge combination are not easy to find in this smaller size but are just right for my needs or a college kid needs.

A great second refrigerator. Large capacity, effective shelves on doors- no angled bottle specific crazy door shelves. Nice exterior and led lighting in the frig area.

The main problem with this item is the single control for both the freezer compartment and the refrigerator section. It took me several days of using a thermometer to finally find a setting that worked for both. This is being used in my garage as an "overflow" appliance when space is needed in my kitchen refrigerator. I set the control at 2 1/2 and loaded it with soft drinks with 4 cartons of ice cream in the freezer. Ice cream was not rock hard and several soft drink cans in the refrigerator froze and exploded. (Yes - it did take time and trouble to clean up that mess. The explosion of the soft drink cans even blew the refrigerator door open.) It took several days of changing the temperature setting in order to find the correct balance between the refrigerator temp and the freezer temp. If it wasn't such an inconvenience to return the appliance to the store I would not have kept it. Bottom line - it was affordable for it's intended purpose but took me a lot of time and trouble to find the best temp for both sections to function properly.

This refrigerator was just the right size for in our laundry room. It gives us extra room especially when guests are here for food and freezer space. It works great!

The Insignia 4.5 cubic foot Mini Fridge with Top Freezer has a nice looking stainless steel finish and it looks like a small version of a regular sized fridge. It arrived well packed in the box with plastic film covering all of the stainless steel which protected the finish. The box was also designed like a regular fridge box so you when you cut the straps, the box just lifts off the fridge providing easy access to remove it. After hooking it up to power, putting the temp control to the middle setting and after letting it sit for a little while I tested the temperatures in both. The temps tested perfectly with the fridge between 35 and 37 degrees and the freezer at 0 degrees. The fridge seems well designed and constructed. The door is reversible to open from the right or the left. When I opened the door, the led lighting was nice and bright. There are adjustable shelves, door bins, a crisper drawer and I was able to fit three 2 liter bottles of soda in the larger door bin which surprised me. The freezer was roomy and has a shelf. I was able to fit two 8 pound bags of ice in it and also tried freezing some ice cubes which didn't take long before they were hard as a rock. I found this fridge/freezer combination to be just like a high quality regular fridge just smaller. It was also very quiet.

Perfect for my in law quarters. Small enough to fit in a tiny space and big enough to hold enough food for over a week.

Fridge works really well, absolutely no complaints in terms of its functionality however, the freezer is a bit small. I was expecting it to be the same size as the door, but it does cave in on the inside. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with my purchase!
