One end plugs into the HDMI slot for my switch and the mini goes into the slot on my monitor. As long as you're careful not to damage/bend either end of the cable, it should meet its expectations.

I’ve had issues with these types of cables in the past but this one is as solid choice. Image quality is good exactly where it needs to be at decent frame rates. I feel there’s no need to go any more expensive.

The cable did not introduce any noticeable input lag and the picture quality was better than some other cables that I have used in the past.
