I'm mainly frustrated with this Thing as shortly after purchasing it in-store I found other Things more suited to what I need, but now I'm stuck with -this- Thing. It -does- provide some solid USB 3.0 expansion, but the short cord is a slight hindrance, and the lack of a silicone/whatever pad on the bottom doesn't make for easy placement either. That said, it became slightly more convenient by chance after noticing that the magnetic charger for my Adonit stylus actually acts to secure it to one of the metal braces on my desk. You can sorta make that out in the pic; it's dark in here. Real dark. SCARY dark.

Bad, inconsistent. I bought it January 16 and now is March 22 about 2 months in. The device keeps shutting off and on while connected to my PS4 powered on. This shouldnt be happening, it should be on when powered on and off when powered off. Instead it decides to shut of for long periods of time while ps4 powered on. All i have connected to the ports are a keyboard, headphone usb and controller charger. We arent talking about heavy duty stuff here. But of course it only started to fail a month after and very noticeable soon after, not returnable and rhe other version with a power block is out of stock. Upsetting. Picture showing my set up powered on with my SSD lit up and the this trash faiing for basic function of two devices connecting, charger and keyboard.

I just got this hub today, and I know it's way to early to review it - but - I came to say that it plugged right into my mac book pro retina and I am running a usb headset for work, my external hard drive which i have run three time machine backups back to back simultaneously, i have my iphone 12 pro connected and recognized, and a usb keyboard all at the same time. Everything functions perfectly. I have no idea about connecting tablets and other devices but this little guy is nailing it for what I need. Will travel nicely in the laptop case to use anywhere. (please note that macbook pro usb ports provide more power than standard usb's on windows computers)

The hubs never has enough usb ports...until now! This simple and inexpensive item is so easy to use that even he could install it. He liked the size, the price, and the fact that it allows his little laptop to expand to accept additional hardware.

I bought this when I began working from home full-time during the pandemic. We were not able to bring our port replicator/docking station home--but I needed more USB ports. This hub worked well, is small so it doesn't take up desk space, and allowed me to have my USB chargers plugged in for both my work and cell phones. Note the cord is short, so if you need a longer cord, you may want to look at other options. I recall some comments when i was selecting this hub that the cable was stiff. Yes, the first few days, the hub didn't lay flat, which didn't affect functionality at all.

This 4 port USB 3.0 hub allows my computer to have enough USB ports to be useful after upgrading memory. I added a 240 GB SATA SSD restoring my Lenovo 110S back to operation. I didn't have sufficient memory to install upgrades to Windows 10. Speed of this SSD allows my computer to work faster than the original 32 GB. I have reformatted the 32 GB and still use it as faster memory than the 2 TB USB 3 that I also purchased from Best Buy. Together these make this 110S-11IBR very portable and useful.

Perfect solution for Surface Pro users who don't want to spend over $100 for a docking station. This is a nice compact USB hub. It is easy to use and has performed well. This allows me to plug my USB mouse, external keyboard and iPhone charge cable (with one open USB plug still available) into the one single standard size USB port on my Surface Pro tablet laptop, while the two USB-C ports can be used for my monitor and power cable.

It's USB 3.0, so it won't slow down your interface needs (although they will have to share a port). To maximize the performance of your laptop, I recommend plugging in higher bandwidth devices (external drives, video camera, etc.) into your laptop USB ports directly, leaving one port for this 4-port hub, and then populating it with your remaining lower-bandwidth devices like mice and keyboards (since they wil have to share the same USB port on your laptop). The hub ports are all powered if you plug it into a powered port (so check first whether you need powered USB or not). It's working great for me, and the cord is long enough to move the 4 ports into easy-to-reach positions while short enough to never get tangled.

This hub is really handy if your laptop has limited USB ports. Light and easy to transport. Easy to use. Reasonably priced.

I purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro, which I love, but I only has one USB port so I needed a USB Port Hub to expand the number of USBs I could use with my computer (i.e. external hard drive, track ball). This one provides me with 4 USB Ports, it's small and very portable. I didn't want something big or that required me to plug it into a wall outlet to work. If you're looking for a portable USB Hub this will do a great job for you and NOT break the bank.

Got this for my surface pro 6 so I can be portable and keep my bag light. I work on the road in sales. I can plug in a thumb drive and tether from my phone using the wired connection (it’s more stable). Does what it should. Just don’t try to use an external HD. You need a powered hub for that. Perfect for travel but I were on a home PC...I’d get a version that had powered ports.

The one thing I have consistently struggled with is having enough USB Ports in my laptops. Finally I ordered this USB Hub and it is fantastic! It is everything I had hoped for and then some. The speed is fast and the only thing I wish it had is a little longer cord. Not enough to take away a star, but enough to be a little inconvenient.

Just got a new computer. You would think in todays world they would have more USB ports. I needed more. Thinking that 4 additional would be plenty. Of course, after a couple of days, I found myself need more hubs. I am waiting for the 7-port hub to come in so I can return the 4-port. No issues while using it. compact and lightweight and gets the job done. The cord is short. If I were keeping it, I was considering a piece of Velcro to stick it to the back of my computer instead of just hanging by the short cord.

I have two USB 3.0 ports on my Lenovo laptop (not enough!) and this USB 3.0 Hub saves the day working as advertised. I have a keyboard, mouse, SanDisk for movies and a DVD drive. Works great and no loss of speed. The cord to the computer is short and my desk looks cluttered but everything works great. I just bought another one of these today.

I was looking for a USB hub with 4 ports without needing a power adapter and this one fit the bill. I've been using it with lower power devices such as mouse, keyboard, and DVD/BD drive and it has worked well. It is connected to a 4K monitor with USB 3.0 ports and I can easily switch between a Mac and PC and all devices on this hub work on both systems. The type of host USB port you use and the power it can supply may affect how many devices will actually work with any mobile USB hub, so keep that in mind. A USB 3.0/3.1 host port can supply more current than USB 2.0 or older.

good product that arrived quickly. slim profile so it doesn't add more mess (although the cords are another matter). I find this very useful for my new computer that has very few USB ports. All the devices work well with it (unless previous hub that didn't supply enough power.

Bought this for my PS4 so I could hookup more things to it. Works great! I have my headset and two cables hooked up to it and it works flawlessly. Highly recommend for anyone that needs more ports than the standard 2 ports available on the PS4. This would also work great for anyone with a laptop that needs more USB ports.
