Due to the upgrade my syncing cable for the i6 became obsolete. So I bought this as a replacement. Fully compatible with my new phone; syncing from it to my computer (mainly photos) works perfectly.

It doesn't really increase or decrease the battery level. It just maintains it. I haven’t tested it over a long drive (like 4–5 hours), but during a 2-hour trip, the battery level stayed the same
