    Works for about a year, at best

    I have purchased 2 of these since 2020, since I got a Samsung 25W super fast charger that requires a USB-C to USB-C cable. They were much more expensive at the time, same 1 year warranty. Super fast charging worked well, so I didn't expect to have any problems. I can't even remember the last time I had to replace a bad charging cable. I have dozens of various charging cables, many that have outlasted the devices they came with. Just a little over a year after I bought the 1st cable, it quit working over a few days. It would disconnect randomly, and reconnect for a while if I plugged it in again, then over the next couple of days, it stopped working altogether. I found a small, discolored area on one side of the USB-C connector, and assumed I must have caused it somehow, and bought another one as a replacement. The exact same thing happened to the 2nd one I bought, again, just outside of the 1 year warranty. It also appeared discolored, possibly corroded, when it quit working. There is nothing wrong with the charging ports on the devices I used these cables with, they're all still working fine. So, I will not be buying any Insignia brand cables in the future.

    Broke on first use.

    This item broke my first time using it. I plugged it into a charging brick and when I pulled it out the tip stayed in the brick. I was able to pry the tip out of the brick, but I am unable to reattach it to the chord. This product is very low quality.

    Worst USB ever. Always loose on the phone am using it on, always coming off. To charge my phone, need to hold on to it to stay in place.

    I thought this charger was great, until it stopped working today, less than 5 months after I purchased it. The store associate told me it would work just as good as an Apple charger... and it did for less than 5 months. Do yourself a favor and just purchase the Apple branded charger.

    Stopped working well already

    I've only had this for 4 months and it has already stopped working well. It started to take several hours to charge my phone when it used to take less than an hour. Same with my tablet and my husband's phone. The last few weeks I get messages on my devices to check my connection and I have to unplug and replug a few times for it to work at all. I began using a different cable and that worked fine so I know it's not the fault of the devices.

    Terrible! Waste of $$! No longer works after 2 months and 5 days. Only used beside my bed. Never out of my home. Have been careful to make sure there is no twisting. The crappy apple one that was originally with my new iPad 12” pro lasted 6, almost 7 months. They should be better than that! Both are CRAP!

    Bought 2 of these on sale and lasted 3 months with normal use. The connector bends too easily causing inconsistent charging that ultimately leads to no charging. “A” brand much more reliable.

    Overpriced and defective, not much to tell other than bestbuy puts a premium price on even their cheap stuff. Go to office depot or staples for something like this. Youll get quality for much cheaper.

    Ripped open box like a savage and threw it away plugged it into my vehicle Worked for 20 mins then stopped now I can't return it and I still can't connect to anything and I'm out 20 bucks...nice.

    The cable was great for the first 4 months until it stopped. It never left my bedroom so it wasn't moved around or anything. Stayed plugged in and only used at night. Waste of $22.00!!

    The cable doesn't work well. the charging takes too long. buy it if you have 10 hours to charge your cell phone. Also, the store technician was the one who recommended it to me. very badly.

    Wrong INCORRECT power adaptor for a HP

    This cable does charge my HP Spectre laptop but every time I use it my laptop tells me it is not HP approved and I should not be using it. BB did not have an HP approved power adaptor. The one given to me when I purchased my HP laptop has never fit the C port properly and now is not working. I ordered on from HP and it is not the correct charger for my laptop, Now I need to return it to HP. Not sure what to do now.
