I waited an hour in the store to purchase this and have it brought to my car only to get it home and find out it was damaged inside the box. Very upset to pay this much for a damaged product after having to drive 30 miles to a bestbuy which carried this model. Also the product has a sticker that says “built in version available” however there are instructions for building same model number into a counter??

Delivery was great, on time and quick. Package was perfect and the cooler was new condition. Let the cooler sitting and unplugged for over 4 hours per manual. But it does not work. Set both sides to 37 degrees. The cooler digital display shows the "set temperature" and the true cooler temp. The left side does not go below around 70 degrees. The right side is around 48 degrees.

There is a whole bunch of rust in the bottom on both sides. I purchased on January 14, 2020. There's a lot of it. Surely it started within the warranty period but I'm being told they won't honor it. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE!!! Rust is on both sides but I've only provided one because I don't want to remove all the bottles out of the second side.

1 star - build quality 4-5 star - price including the extended warranty 4 star - looks 4 star - dual cooler featur =3 star for my initial impression Most likely you are looking at this thing because you are like me. You want a nice looking beverage cooler for your home but you don't want to spend the $2000-4000 for a Kitchenaid, Wolf or Thermadore. So you've arrived at the Insignia. One thing you may have noticed is that all these less expensive beverage fridges look very similar...no matter the brand. From talking to a couple appliance people while doing my due diligence, the reason is because all the cheap ones are pretty much made by the same company. I didn't do much more research than that...I decided I wasn't willing to pay for a premium one, so I wanted the best looking cheap one I could find...and I landed on the Insignia. My thought was that I would purchase the Best Buy insurance to protect my purchase for 4 years. That would take care of the compressor failing in the first 4 years and get me a replacement no questions asked. For the cooler and the insurance I came out to a little over $800...much cheaper than the premium cooler and a little piece of mind was included. During setup, you can see how cheaply this thing is built. There are two 'feet/legs' on the front so you can get it level...but none on the back. The sheet metal pieces that are holding it together on the back and bottom are sloppily screwed together. The locks that keep the kiddos out of the alcohol stash are loose and don't keep it locked. The door easily bends it out of the way and the lock slides right over the latch. I pulled some of these panels off and tried to tighten things up. It helped a little...everything was loose. The two front legs that are supposed to help level this thing stripped immediately upon bearing any weight. I had to end up using wood shims to level the appliance. As with most things, when you install it yourself you can see how the sausage is made, so to speak. I'm super annoyed by how cheap this thing is made and the fact that I had to use shims to get it to level. And the fact I had to tighten everything up. And the fact that the lock doesn't really work. I'd say buy at your own risk...and I'd highly recommend the insurance. I've only owned it a couple weeks but I'm pretty confident I will get my moneys worth out of the extended warranty in a year or two. If the innards of thing thing are comparable in quality to how it's put together on the outside, there is no way this thing will last. Time will tell.

This is our second beverage center - as we sold the last one with the house we just sold! The fact we actually purchased the identical model tells you how good it is - dual zone temp controls, holds wine and/or beverages, two doors, two sides, and enough shelves to configure it how you want! Keep it in a decent enclosure and the noise will be fine. Our new model is currently sitting exposed to the room, waiting for a cabinet to be built around it! It's a little noisy for that - but still only noticable if you have no other sources of noise (even a quiet tv is enough) That's the only reason for a lesson than perfect score.

So far happy with the unit It looks nice and seems sufficient at keeping wine and drinks cold. Plusses: * Physically separate dual zone is quite useful. * Adjustable shelves makes a side versatile to hold cans and bottles at the same time. Nitpicks: * No leveling feet in the rear, just the front. So it's a little inconvenient for an uneven floor like I have. * Motor noise is slight but evident when freestanding. Should be better once it's completely built-in so the cabinets and counter can muffle the sound. Also occasionally makes a subtle croaking sound, like little frogs in the distance, when not running. But only noticeable when you're right next to the unit. * The racks seem to be made primarily for straight bottles as opposed to curved bottles, such as for chardonnay. You feel like you're wasting space since you can only get two champagne or chardonnay bottles on a shelf compared to three bordeaux style bottles.

We really like this product and the dual zones. It is great to have wine on one side and other beverages on the other side at a lower setting. Also a nice feature is ease of removing shelves to fit your personal needs. This is a sharp looking product. We have not used the locks yet but another good feature. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is it is a bit loud when running.

We looked for a wine fridge for a long time and considered many different options. We decided to purchase the Insignia wine and beverage center for a few reasons. We really liked that this was dual zone, accommodated both wine and beer with different style shelves, featured lights and locks, and had a very simple and sleek look. We also couldn't believe the price - wine fridges are expensive, but this one was priced right! However, despite these positive features, we were hesitant after reading some of the negative reviews that said the fridge is loud, doesn't have back leveling legs, arrived damaged, doesn't stay at the set temperatures, etc. After looking around a ton, we happened to stumble upon a sale on this one and just made the choice to buy. We've only had it installed for about a week, but I can honestly say that we love it so far. No issues with the leveling. No damage when we opened (ordered online and picked up in store). And it's not loud at all (keeping in mind that ours is built into a cabinet and not free standing). In fact, our regular fridge is louder than this one. Not sure about how the life span on this product will be, but for the price and initial quality, we're really happy with this purchase and would recommend!

This fridge came to me incredibly scuffed up. And as the packaging showed, the craftsmanship was also lacking. The locks on the bottom are useless - if you pull hard enough, then you can open it while its still locked since the metal piece that is supposed to hold the lock is flimsy and almost aligned with where the lock stops. Finally, the fridge is pretty loud. Overall, the fridge does function. I do like the dual zone feature that allows for both wine and beverages (beer, soda, water, etc). But if I were to buy again, I would definitely spend the extra and go with another bradn.

We love this Dual Zone Wine & Beverage Fridge so much we bought it twice. Once for a house we recently sold as part of our kitchen remodel for that house. And, just recently for our new house in our newly remodeled kitchen. Pros -- Beer on one side and wine on the other - it is perfect for our needs! -- The price is unbeatable -- It looks great -- It works great -- Others have commented that it is loud. Our setup has the fridge between two cabinets and under a countertop and it is not loud. Cons -- The shelf layout does not account for fat bottom wine bottles. The shelves assume the elongated standard wine bottles. As such, I do not believe it could hold 42 bottles of wine today as the bottles are different shapes and sizes that don't fit the shelves cleanly -- NO OTHER CONs for us

Frig looks great. Right (cold) side gets cold enough to chill sodas, beer, etc. We use left side for reds at 60 degrees. The frig makes very annoying sounds at times. First time it happened in middle of night, I jumped out of bed thinking my dog was whimpering in pain. It seems something may be wrong so I called to get a replacement. They’re out of stock. Since I have a couple months to return, I’ll wait to see if it improves. You definitely can’t use all the shelves provided. A standard wine bottle won’t fit. Even with every other shelf removed, you can’t fit 3 across as shown online.

Best Buy delivery was great. No contact and unwrapped it for me to check for damage. All good. Refrigerator holds a ton and works really well. Yes it makes a few noises from time to time but it's not loud and for the price this unit seems really great. If you load it up completely with room temperature beverages, just do it at night and everything will be cool in the morning. No complaints at this point and it looks really nice.

This unit is huge and will hold everything any party host really needs. Saying that, my only gripe is that I don’t love the shelving. They’re made like metal grates instead of glass, wood or metal shelves and therefore bottles don’t always do well standing straight up and down on them. If you can get past that, it’s huge, quiet and chills reliably!

The side-by-side doors are especially handy because it gives you ultimate flexibility. also fit really well under the counter. You just have to remove the top cover of the screws before it fits underneath. The white wine section can actually be configured to have standing bottles which is an amazing bonus that I did not expect. Especially great for opened wine bottles and champagne bottles. Just be aware that it’s a little noisy at times.

We’ve had our unit for close to two months. It’s worked perfectly without any problems. The dual zones are separated by a center wall and and their own doors. This design makes it possible to isolate the two zones. We’ve checked each zone using clinical thermometers and they maintain their set temperatures right down to a single degree. We found other dual zone fridges using a common compartment failed to do that. We would give this fridge a solid five stars except for its storage capacity. The documentation says it can hold 42 bottles. That’s not true unless they’re all “skinny Bordeaux” bottles. The height and width of the shelves don’t easily accommodate wider bottles such as Burgundy. You have to store fewer. Or you can adjust the shelf height (not easy) or remove some of the racks (better).

I’m on the fence on this unit. I haven’t quite figured out how to make the most of the space. Bottles don’t fit quite right. Regular sized bottles sometimes are too big. Cans? Water bottles? You’ll have to play around with it and I just haven’t had time. Then there’s the noise. Sometimes the unit is whisper quiet — like right now as I type this. Other times it squeaks, gurgles or runs hard and I can’t figure out what the issue is. It does look good. I like the lights in the unit and the dual zone temperature.
