Was it Insignia or Best Buy that broke down?

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I bought this 43” Insignia Fire TV, it was replacing a 32” Insignia that I had mounted in my bedroom, so I had a neighbor mount the new larger mount and TV for this location because I’m disabled (there’s a reason I mention that.) The new Insignia TV worked fine for about 2 weeks, after that, around the last 1/3 of the screen started blinking with lines across it. I waited a week to see if it was my cable TV provider so I tried using it with only a DVD player and finally another outlet to no avail. I then called Best Buy to see what I had to do next. During that first phone call, Best Buy’s customer service department told me I was required to not only take the defective TV off the wall myself, but bring it in to my local Best Buy store to exchange, bring the new one back home and rehang it myself. Since I did not pay Best Buy to mount it (a neighbor had mounted the new 43”), it was assumed I’m not out any money, time or effort to swap the TV. When I told the representative that I cannot take it off the wall myself and put it in my car since I’m physically disabled, he said because I had help doing those things before, they won’t help. So, essentially if I want a replacement for the defective TV (exchange), I’d have to get my own help to take it down, get it to the store to exchange, etc. Normally, that wouldn’t be a problem, but weather has caused massive damage around here and everyone’s busy. So, I’d forgotten how long I had to get this thing off the wall and bring in, I so I called customer service again to find out and this second rep gave me two options… scenario one was: get it off the wall, bring it in, exchange for a new one and rehang. Scenario two, they could book someone to exchange it for me at my house, meaning take it off the wall for me, bring me a new one from Best Buy and swap and see it works properly. Wait… what?!? I’m really glad I called back, but this would have been so easy and quick had they explained that was even a possibility the first time. Once the TV is replaced, I’ll update the review, but not too thrilled right now.
