If you tweak the settings a bit, it's actually a really stunning panel. I was surprised considering the price. Google is your friend, if you put in the model number it comes up with a forum that has several configurations you can choose from based on your preference. Don't be fooled when you first turn it on... It'll look pretty bad until you mess around with the settings.

Needed a new television after my LG became obsolete. I chose the Insignia because this is a basic television that is easy to set up and very user-friendly. The picture quality is excellent and works well for DVD watching as well. Never had a bad purchase from Best Buy.

I bought this tv for a friend of mine. She doesn’t have internet and she didn’t want a smart tv so this one does quite nice. 43 inch is a good size for where she is putting it and for the price we are both happy with this tv. It’s only 1080p but that’s really all she wants . It might not be the latest tech but the picture and sound are good and it gets the job done.

The Insignia Fire TV Edition (NS-DF710NA21) line of televisions is super-affordable and features lots of streaming options, but you can get much better performance by spending just a little more.
PROS: Affordable Fire TV platform has useful features, Colors are reasonably balanced.
CONS: Mediocre contrast consumes shadow details, Undersaturated greens, Poor input lag even in Game mode.

Got this 43” for our bedroom and my husband loves the picture/colors it has. It has a nice, clear and sharp picture and the sound is great. It also picked up a lot of reg antenna channels that we could not get on our 32”.
My husband didn’t want a smart or Roku installed TV so this TV fit the bill. We just hooked up the Roku box and he was set to go just like the old tv.

For $149 on sale, you really can't go wrong. Nice bedroom TV. We only use at night, so brightness is not a factor. Plug a cheap smart streaming stick in and you're good to go. Picture quality is decent, only 1080p but at 43 inches you won't notice 4k anyway.
