My TV got fried about a month ago. With two kids and summer vacation coming I couldn't afford to be without a living room set for long. Went up to the local Best Buy and walked around for a bit, intent on just finding an open box and working from there. I saw the TV I had, for $260 (50" Insignia LED dumb TV), and two sets down on the display was this one for $280. I called the Blue Shirt over and verified that the price was correct for the set. I mean $280 for a 50" 4K LED with Roku built-in? Come on?!?! He said it was right, but that they did not have any in stock and could get one to the store in about 3 days. I bought it, a Vizio soundbar, and the 5 year extended warranty for less than what I paid for my last TV. Having used it for several weeks I feel pretty confident in recommending this TV. It is pretty intuitive with its interface, Wifi is easy to set up, and there are a pile of streaming "channels". Super easy for the kids to use, as there is a Netflix button on the remote. If you can get this TV for less than $375 its a good deal, less than $300 was just a steal.

Bought as a TV in guest room. Wanted to something that could get all the channel without having to get another cable box and thanks to Roku this is it! Just have to pair it to your cable account and you get all the cable channels plus more! Picture quality is excellent. Not a huge fan of the Roku remote because cant just put the channel number you are wanting, but it gets the job done.

I purchased this TV a little over two months ago and the family absolutely loves it. Mom watches movies and shows on it and brother plays his PS4 without no problems or hiccups. It's definitely a smart TV and accessing Netflix and YouTube takes zero to no effort and works with the click of a button. I would buy this tv again for another family member!

Great picture and 5g wifi. I put it in the bedroom and the bright blue Led keeps waking me up. volume is too loud at low levels which is bad for the bedroom when kids are trying to sleep in the room next door. ROKu is great, but the remote has no numbers. Antenna picks up locals and you can push left to scan up or down, but no numbers to go right there. Netflix is quick to log in and picture looks great.

Purchased this tv for our master bedroom. Great picture and it was easy to set up. Works great. Love that we no longer needed the cable box and was able to return it. Only draw back is the remote does not allow you to enter tv channels directly with the remote control....instead you must scroll up or down to get to the channel you want.

I am really impressed with the quality of my new tv. The picture is very clear and set up was fairly easy. Only two negatives...there is no way to add channels (I have antenna tv) and the TV off light stays red constantly and when the TV is on, it blinks red. Kind of distracting. Other than those two issues, I am very happy with my purchase and the price was reasonable.

The Roku TV was easy to set up and has been a joy to watch. The picture and sound are very crisp. I'm looking forward to many hours of watching. The only negative is the sound buttons on the side of the remote make it too easy to mute or change the sound level. Small complaint when everything else is so good.

I researched brands before my purchase and insignia was considered an average quality TV with a C+ rating. I really like it. The lighting and colors were brighter than other better ranked tvs which was my main concern. For example Sony & Vizio which are better brands aren't as rich in color. Only con was the volume. It's definitely loud enough for all to hear in the living room and kitchen but I'm used to tvs being louder. But since I don't need it any louder I still give it a 5 star. I purchased on sale for $298 and if I had more money I would have bought another. Retail price was $500 which I still think is fairly low for the quality. Do yourself a favor and get this TV. You can always return it if your not satisfied but you will definitely like it.

This TV is underrated, There’s not many Roku TV is out there and this is one of them you’ll definitely be surprised at the quality and color along with features at this television offers for the price definitely a good purchase as well as a full-featured 4k TV

I'm very happy with this tv, especially for the price. It was very easy to set up and get everything going. The picture is great and so is the sound. I first thought I wouldn't like the remote but it's much easier to use than I first thought it would be.

For the price, you can't beat this TV, picture is not perfect but definitely distinguishable as 4k. It's very versatile for what it can do. My only complaint would be with the remote needing to be pointed directly at the sensor, but honestly I use the Roku app for controlling my TV must of the time anyways.

Bought tv because I needed another one in my house. Liked the fact that it was a smart tv with a Rokue built in. The price was very good and tv has been great. Had I bought a rokue separately it would have been a lot more money, great price!

The insignia 50 inch 4K tv is a pretty good tv for the price of it. One thing I don't like is the volume, it's not the best in this area but other than that has good picture and easy to set up and use.

This TV is amazing. The picture is so clear ... and I finally got "up with the times" - it's a Smart TV - and for the price, there is nothing else out there that could beat it.

and it has Roku built in! i'm new to streaming Roku, and i must say i'm impressed. i'd been used to directv, but i now am a convert to cable-satellite cutting and direct streaming instead :) the TV has everything i need. the sound quality was great out of the box, but i can send the audio out to my studio near field monitors, and the audio experience is nothing short of amazing. picture quality is everything the marketing says. outstanding. even for blu-rays and older DVDs. i.e., its not just great for 4K it is great for every resolution. And at this price? no regrets at all. great value, and it delivers.

This is our second Insignia TV - we have a 32-inch 1080P and liked the Roku built-ins. I don't know enough about 4K HDTV to know whether it's better than others out there, but my wife was commenting the other day about seeing every pore on actresses' faces. And the Best Buy guys recommended it over other brands in the price range (Black Friday purchase). It's pretty darn good picture for sports and newer programming (the picture is only going to be as good as the feed anyway). The sound is good - I don't play it too loud because we live in a condo - but we eventually plan to hook it up to our build-in speakers in any event.

Got this on sale. Our old 1080 tv picture went out. Really love the roku feature. Easy to access apps. Good picture and sound for a tv under $400.
