Didn’t expect it to work, but it did

I was having problems finding the original replacement for my charger, and Best Buy recommended the Insignia™ 53W Universal AC Adapter. I honestly wasn’t sure if it would work and thought I might have to return it. But it worked right away, which really surprised me. I also like that it comes with different tips, so I can use it for other devices if needed. So far, it’s been working perfectly for what I needed. Really glad I gave it a try.

Insignia 53W Universal AC Adapter Review
JAYF Posted
I bought this to charge a network ethernet tester since we needed one for work. This product works great. I was happy that it had all the different ends that I needed. Fits perfectly & charges very quickly for the most part. Some ends do not fit my other devices as snug but when it comes to the main device I bought it for it works flawlessly. Its being used daily as we test lots of our ethernet connections with the tester. So far, no complaints. Would buy again if needed & would highly recommend.

Versatile adapter with plenty of useful options
Keement Posted
I bought the 53W version because it covers a much wider range of devices than the lower-powered model. It includes seven interchangeable tips and selectable outputs from 3V up to 24V, plus a USB port. The voltage selection is simple and clearly indicated, and having multiple tips makes it useful to keep around for older electronics with barrel-style power connections. Mine was open-box and still included all of the tips, and everything I’ve been able to test so far works as expected. My only complaints are that it is center-positive only and it skips a few voltages, such as 18V, so “universal” has some limits. Still, for the price and versatility, it’s a useful adapter to have around.

Perfect Cord to Have in Reserve
BKat Posted
This product is exactly the saving grace to keep handy for those times where I'm going to plug something in and the related power cord got legs and wandered off. No matter the size this has a pin that will fit. The voltage switch is east to bump or not get set perfectly and the power adapter is bulky so that's 4 stars instead of 5

Great for actuating a relay
ycavan Posted
I needed to add a timed 24v relay to a project that spanned 24 hours. I got an outdoor 120v timer and plugged this into the outlet. It was easy enough to use the dc side for the positive and negative legs of the relay. With that i had a 24 hour timed relay, in half hour increments.

Not only that but the adjustable voltage makes certain that you don’t hurt the equipment you plug into! Highly recommend if you’re confused about sizing or can’t find the correct cords!
