Bought this TV on sale for $330 which I thought was a great deal. I’ve owned the Insignia 40” with the same specs and was satisfied with that TV so I kinda knew what to expect with this TV. I only watch NetFlix, YouTube and stream my iPhone and iPad to the TV via Apple TV and this TV performs as expected. It even works really well as a monitor for my MacBook Pro. I would definitely recommend buying this TV if you’re not crazy about 4K, want to add your own smart TV device (that’s a great thing about this TV, it’s just a TV, no worries of the internal smart TV functions failing) and just want to watch movies or videos. The picture quality and fluidness of this TV is great, very bright and fulfilling colors without any noticeable disturbances. Have not experienced any lag or hesitations of the TV.

No need for all the bells and whistles. This TV provides a great picture and can be turned into a streaming smart TV with the addition of a smart DVD player. This is my second Insignia TV (55” and 40”). I do have an 80” 4K I enjoy but the Insignia is a great buy for my vacation home.

I am in love with my TV. I went to the store and caught it on sale and didn't know it was until I got there. It is the perfect compliment to the setup in my bedroom. One of the best features I love is how it cuts off after a certain amount of time. Especially when I fall asleep with it on. I am thrilled to have it.

Great sound & picture fits perfectly in our room and has good sound plus we purchased that sound bar thing and now it's crystal clear!

I love watching movies on the 55 inch television. The picture quality seems to be quite alright (don't hope for fireworks) but is pretty decent for the price of the television.

I was a little worried about purchasing an insignia, however it is the best tv I have owned. Fantastic quality.

I bought the tv for my father for father's day my father was watching tv on a 20 inch tv after his vintage screen tv finally gave out his eye sight isn't what it was so we bought him this tv great for the budget with a clear picture very light so at 70 years old he can move it all by himself what can i say the Vietnam vet loves his tv and the price met our budget hes very happy with it.

I purchased this. Television for my bedroom. I wasn't concerned about it being smart because I already had a smart Blu-ray player. And I've only had the TV for a couple of weeks so it is most certainly not tried and true, but so far so good. It was packed it's nice it was not damaged when I pulled it out of the package it started right up it was easy to hang. The picture quality on it Is really good no complaints at this time

Picked this up for my father-in-law to replace his 32-inch TV. He loves it as it breathes new life into all his movies. Easy to set up. It was even light enough that he was able to mount it on the wall himself. Best Buy's Insignia brand is nearly as good as the bigger names out there.

The TV was easy to set up. The on screen directions were easy & simple to understand & follow. The picture is quite decent for the price & design of product. The sound is not that loud even when increased to its limit-the only down-side. The quality & hardware used is not too shabby.

had to return the first tv because it was cracked but Best Buy exchanged it with no problems. The size of the tv is great and meets our needs. The price fit our budget and the overall picture is good.

Considering its price I really did not expect this TV to be a good as those costing more. I was pleasantly surprised! I purchased the TV for an 88 year old woman who was trying to watch an old CRT 27 inch TV from over twenty feet away. This Insignia TV was taken from the box and basically set up in around 30 minutes. The picture was good using the factory settings. The menu system is simple and I custom set a lot of the settings to achieve what I would consider a great picture. The woman we gave it to loves it and has stated many times that she did not know what she was missing while watching her old TV. She keeps commenting about how beautiful peoples eyes look and that now she can read the banners across the bottom of the screen. I highly recommend this TV for anyone needing a great picture without all the bells and whistles that more costly smart TVs offer.

Great picture and sound. Very easy to set up and connected easily to our service provider. Nature shows are in vivid color and it is perfect for the large room we have it in. Great value for the price.

Great tv at a great price. Someone looking for a reliable tv without all the bells and whistles, look no further. No, it's not a "smart tv", but considering most houses have smart bd players, gaming consoles, etc, it's not always a necessity to have a smart tv, and pay extra for one, and it's getting harder to find ones that aren't.

Purchased this TV on sale for about $250 I knew for a fact I couldn’t beat that price ANYWHERE the sales reps helped me make an educated decision first and I have not been disappointed with this tv once I changed the picture settings a bit it’s vivid and crystal clear. You will not be disappointed.

I bought this TV to hang on the wall for training purposes in my church. It is very helpful and useful and trying to train people about certain organizations. I can turn it in swivel so that all in the room can see. It is a nice size. Not too big but big enough for what I needed at for. It was a great price also.
