I was pleasantly surprized by the excellent overall performance of my new Insigna 4k Smart HD TV with Roku. I did not expect to like Roku and the connectivity but it has proven to be as good if not better than other embeded Smart TV apps. The TV performance color, contrast, brightness, dark level, and functionality with screen mirroring was also equal or better than my Samsung Smart TVs.

This is a perfect fit for anyone on a budget. Easy setup and use. Clear picture with good upscaling. Love the ROKU interface. With the right settings, you won't be disappointed. Just take 10 minutes to set up the image and sound to your liking and you will be happy with the decision of buying it. I've seen reviews where people complain about the speakers not being too loud, but I I've found that it depends on what application you are using or, in the case of DirectTV Now for example, even the channel you are viewing affects the speakers' loudness. Therefore not being the TV speakers, but the app itself. I justed raise the volume and problem fixed.

I was so satisfied with this TV that I purchased two with a week of each other. This is a feature rich TV at an amazing price. This TV makes it very easy to cut the cord and cancel cable.

I bought this for my daughters apartment when she moved out. It was easy to set up and use, and she loves the picture quality. Great value and a great TV.

Picture quality excellent. cost was less than what I expected to pay for a 40" hd smart tv. Sound was adequate but I added a sound system. only problem was needed to use multiple remotes to run everything together.

My son recently broke our 42 inch TV we've had for about 4 years. I went to Bestbuy.com not knowing what was the "new craze" with TV. Stumbled across this TV. As somebody who has never had a 4k smart tv, I was blown away. The quality is amazing, easy to hook up with the WIFI and we were watching Netflix in no time. The sound is not good. Once you get past 20, the sound just gets distorted. We have a Klipsch sound bar we hooked it up too. Can't have the best of both worlds at this price point!!

We purchased this tv on black friday week to replace an old lcd Sanyo in our playroom. Kids love it because Roku is easy to get to Netflix\Hulu. Remote is straight forward and the image quality is perfect. Yes its not the best tv out there but it serves the purpose and if my Samsung went down in the living room i would have no problem buying another one of these. I did get the extended warranty for 3 years. Figured a $400 tv that lasts me 4 years is a no brainer or longer is a plus.

We used four of these TVs for three model apartments and a temporary furnished apartment (used by the family of our management team) at a new apartment complex in Kansas. The family liked it so much that they bought one of their own. Picture is great, audio is good, the Roku exactly what they were looking for in a smart TV and the price was right. Note - Insignia TVs have a history of an intelligent mix of features at a great price point. This is another fine example. .

I love this TV. I managed to get it on sale during Memorial Day and it has not disappointed. Perfect size for my living room. The picture is breathtaking! HDR compatible and plugging it into my 4k blu ray player really brought the movies to life with a beautiful picture. I was skeptical about whether 4K was better or not but now that I've experienced it, I can see the different on other TV's. If you are looking for a great 4K TV, this is the TV you want.

I already own a 32" Insignia TV, which is why I bought the 55" for the living room. It takes several hours to set up and the first One had to be returned as there was a white cloud in the screen. I returned the first set and the second works fine, but I bought the warranty after the first one was bad. My parents are in their 80's and cannot see the buttons on the remote. They and I really like the picture and ease of use on streaming channels.

I found this TV on sale for $399. I couldn’t pass this up and I’m glad I didn’t. I had a Vizio smart Tv before this and, for that very reason, I was not wanting another Smart Tv, however every TV in this size class is smart but i’d Never choose one that isn’t a Roku TV. The Tv itself is great - even SD streaming looks woderful, the sound is deep and powerful, and the mirroring is handy. But I think the real selling point is Roku. I’ve used several different TVs and none compare to the user-friendliness of Roku nor do they compare in app selection. Overall, if you’re looking to upgrade your home theater system, I highly recommend this TV

A sales associate switched me from an LG or TCL and I admit I was apprehensive at first because I was not familiar with this brand. For the price, this TV has exceeded all my expectations. No crashes, restarts, or issues with picture. The volume can be inconsistent between apps but I doubt that has anything to do with Insignia. I would buy another one.

This tv was easy to set up. It basically uses a Roku operating system to manage your tv settings. The picture is good for what you get. You’ll notice things are really clear when you stream from a 4K source like 4K Netflix or YouTube etc. It is lacking a lot of contrast ratio technologies but if you’re hooked up to 4K hdmi cables to your box and high speed internet. It will really help. All-in-all. Great tv for the price. You can’t go wrong.

This TV is great for the price. Nice picture and Roku is a plus. Only downside is the speakers. The quality is AWFUL! Going to get a soundbar to see if that helps.

Great TV at a great price! Has loads of smart TV features and great picture quality for a low price. WiFi enabled to access streaming services like Netflix or YouTube. Has an "appstore" to download more streaming service apps. Sound quality is good too. Not great, but good. Has a small remote but has all the main features necessary. All in all if you are looking for a Smart TV on a budget, this is a great choice!
