I bought this TV to replace a previous Insignia TV that had sound problems. The picture and sound are excellent, particularly for what the set cost. What I got for a remote is the current minimalist remote with few buttons, no markings and less control over the set than I had previously. I cannot sync it with my ATT Uverse remote. I cannot sync it with the 3 function Insignia remote I bought to replace the included remote. Both my wife and I have vision problems, and the cheap remotes that come with Insignia sets today create usability problems. So my rating for the TV is really a 5, and my rating of the remote and its capabilities is minus 1; total 4.

The value for this size tv cannot be beat. Picture looks great and sound quality is better than I expected. I am beginning to like the Insignia brand more and more. This is my 4th Insignia brand purchase and every product I bought is still going strong. If you’re value conscious and don’t care about having the best high end brand with the high end price the Insignia product lines can’t be beat for value and quality.

Don’t be frustrated if you don’t like the Fire TV feature. When you set up the TV, just make sure you chose the basic experience. Then there’s an option to have your TV turn off and off in the same input. Also, make sure you don’t connect your TV to the WiFi if you don’t want the Fire TV feature. Once I figured that out I was able to set up my Roku stick and absolutely love the quality of the TV. Great value!

I researched 55 and 58 inch TVs for months. A larger TV would not fit and my small 46 inch TV just didn't feel right for the space I had. It's a guest room TV, so I don't watch it often. It works great, was very inexpensive, and I have not had any issues. Not as sharp as my crystal TV, but it has as good picture as my outdoor Roku TV so no complaints based on the price. If you really want a sharper picture I'd say go with a $1000.00 TV. But if just a pretty good picture is good enough, then this one will do.

Great TV for the price. All we needed for our sunroom. Easy to use for steaming and easy to set up We have had it for a couple of months and no problem so far. Best Buy made it easy. How much more do you want me to say? This review is starting to sound like a novel. It's an okay TV.

I have always purchased Samsungs, but I needed a repair and was told it would cost 3 times the amount of a new purchase for the repair on a 10 yr old tv. So I purchased the Insignia 58'. I am so pleased with this purchase, easy to set up and saved hundreds of dollars. Thank you

Excellent picture, coordinated with my existing controllers, do that I can control power, volume, apps, channel selection, etc. with a single controller. Speakers/audio are good, but of course not really near the quality of external audio. I got it at an excellent price point on sale.

This tv is great! The image quality is wonderful (for my liking at least), and the ease and accessibility of streaming services is of great quality. I'm constantly thinking about how for the price, this tv is so worth it. If you're the average or standard tv watcher, this tv will suit your needs. There are also free channels and services that accompany this tv.

I bought this TV to replace and old plasma that finally gave up. I mainly watch air channels, stream videos and watch movies from DVDs or that are downloaded. I like the screen size and the picture quality is good. It was easy to set up out of the box and to scan air channels. It has a rather good receiver as I was able to get more air channels compared to my other two slightly older TVs. I am using the same attic antenna for all my TVs. What I don't like is Fire TV feature. After I enabled it, TV was by default turning on to Fire TV, regardless of where I left it. I found that there was nothing on Fire TV that interested me and was awkward and difficult to use. Another problem was that, through the Fire TV, the number of air channels dropped a lot, including many channels I watch. I had to disable Fire TV and restore TV to the original factory settings. Now, using it as an ordinary TV it is OK. Depending on what you are looking for in a TV this on may or may not be for you. It works for me.

I’m not a person who buys lots of TVs. My largest television t before this purchase was a 43 inch set. This TV is a 58 inch set and I’m pleased with it in every way. The colors, the apps and audio are all pleasing to me. I definitely recommended it. At the price, it’s nearly unbeatable.

Very nice picture and sound. This one replaced a 42” tv. With the built in fire stick, setup was very easy, once logged into my fire stick account, all my apps showed up and I was able to start watching right away.

Love this TV. We have 4 Insignia televisions in our home. The picture is clear & bright. The best feature is that is an Amazon Fire T. You can watch literally everything. These televisions are the best we've ever had.

Great Basic TV, if you are like me, I feed an XFinity Cable box as my primary input, so all the smart stuff is really icing on the cake. I see a very clear and vibrant picture. I used the Movie settings and then tweaked brightness and contrast a little, but turned all the other advanced features to off or low. I'm not gaming, I'm watching TV, so this TV is everything I needed, the 3 extra inches vs a 55 makes a difference too. Sure the bezel could be thinner but if you're looking at the bezel, the picture must be really boring. I do wish they would design this sized tv with the feet a little closer together. Being a lower priced model of the insignia brand the 5yr extended warranty was a real bargain too.

I bought this TV got my RV. It was the largest one that would still fit in the space and the mount provided. Amazing clarity and great TV overall. Got it in sale and wound up buying a 65” and 75” off the same brand just larger size.
