I have a small insignia tv which was put into storage for a little while. When I retrieved it, the power cord was missing. I was not concerned because I have a zillion standard power cords. Unfortunately, the insignia uses a special cord which I did not have a spare for. It was not the fault of the power cord. So I bought this to replace it and all is well again. If you need a proprietary power cord which will probably only fit one device, you should look at this one.

We needed the cord for a tv and this one fit like a glove and the tv works good for us.

I didn't need the one that was rounded on both sides. Was ecstatic when I found out they carried the one with the flathead on one end. I told the dude on the sales floor, "hey dude, this is what I was looking for, thanks!" and blue shirt guy was like, "alright bro." True story.

The Insignia 6'2" slot polarized power cord is an excellent addition to most major brand devices that require a replacement cord. This cord replaced a lost cord for a discontinued generation VIzio E231-B1. Installation was a breeze and no issues have been encountered with operation of the TV.

How could this happen? I was moving an Insignia TV in my house and some how "lost" the power cord! Checked on-line and a replacement was available. Ordered it on-line and immediately went to my local Best Buy and brought it home! Worked just Fine. PS never did find the lost cord but it must be here somewhere!
