The extension length is good enough to run from typical wall outlets and connect a 6 outlet surge protector. The additional USB ports are a nice touch although I likely won't be using them. Good overall build quality at a very modest price.

The plug is more of a flush fit and the plus allows me to plug in three things plus a couple USB if I wanted. Great deal for the money.
