I have had the monitor for over 10 years and was not for sure if it would connect to my laptop I recently purchased at Best Buy.. The rep was nice and very informative. High-definition television images enter at the end of the cable connected to my Amazon Fire TV box, and travel through it into my TV, where the picture is displayed still in super high definition. I counted every pixel and not a single one was lost from one end to the other. I would recommend this product without hesitation to anybody looking to transfer HDMI signal from one place to another.
