I needed to get a new Vga connector for my new HP Pavilion computer. I already have a monitor that is older and it has a DVI connector. With that said I went to my local Best Buy West Simsbury Ct. The Girl at the Geek Squad desk help me choose the correct Vga connector. "Thank you very much for fast help". Brought it home hooked it up and the new HP computer was up and running. If you plan on getting a new HP Pavilion computer and plan on using you older monitor, do not for get to get a Hdmi or Vga connector. On my Pavilion I did not have a DVI connection. As my computer comes with an integrated video card. Very Hppy with my purchase.

Needed on of these for older computer repairs they are a little pricey since its older connectors but I didn't want to cheap out on it since I've purchased the generic ones from ebay which don't last that long so far its lasted hopefully it does for a while

I needed an adapter to show movies from my laptop computer to an older DVD projector. This worked out great in conjunction with an HDMI to VGA adapter purchased in addition to this cable.

Video card on the PC died, needed a cord to go VGA on monitor to VGA on computer. This cord fit the bill, and allows me to use my computer with my big screen monitor. Not a gamer, so VGA works just fine.

My last cable the dog chewed and now this one works perfectly. I can't complain, great picture from the cable and no flickering like before. Yay, the cable was all i needed and I didn't have to buy a new monitor.

If you're looking for decent, mid-range, non-glam PC cable of this configuration, they should work just fine for you. Length is good, if you aren't doing any crazy setups, so no problems there either.

I needed this cable to replace one on an older (non-hdmi) system. It works great and delivers a clear stream to the monitor. I’ve had it nearly a year and it hasn’t shorted.

This was just the cable we needed. The Best Buy employee did a great job looking at a couple of photos on my phone that depicted what we needed to connect and he knew right away what cable we needed.

This works for an older moniot that I had for a few years. Everything is moving away from VGA now.
