Chose the insignia because it was significantly cheaper then anything else in this size and as I use an Apple TV I didn't need the "smart" features and wasn't going to pay $400 more for it. It hooked up to my sound system without a problem and the picture is great. Almost a perfect TV. The downs for me, it could use a few more vga connectors not a deal breaker. My biggest issue is that I have a lot of vintage video games and playing them on the tv can give me the worst motion sickness. So bad that I can't play or watch for almost a full day, so I have had to cut back to a half hour tops. Still playing with the display settings to see if I can fix it so it's not so bad but am still happy with the TV.

I've this tv for over two months. And it seems to be perfect for the daily. No crazy huge controller. Simple and vivid. Crisp image and very light.

I was in the market for a large format TV but was on a limited budget. I was going to buy a 65" Vizio but happened to run across the 65" Insignia on sale. Keep in mind I NEVER buy "off brand" electronics but decided to do some research. I found many great reviews online and determined id give it a shot since the price was close to $400 off the more name brands. I will say this, I was pleasantly surprised. The TV looks fantastic and though it has limited features, that's exactly what I was wanting. If you don't care about "Smart" features and use a gaming console or other device to stream video, I high recommend you save the money and buy this TV. You can take the extra money left over and invest in a good surround sound system. That's what I did!

This tv is easy to setup and has a a great picture and good sound. For the price you are getting a great looking large screen tv and easy to operate with plenty of connection options for most people.

I was looking to upgrade my 46" Insignia with something bigger when I saw this TV on Best Buys web site. I was very happy with my 46" so how could I pass up on the 65". The price was a steal at $800. Picture quality may not be the same as some other TVs but is still a great picture considering how Mich less expensive it was. Sound quality is really good as well. I would recommend this TV to anyone that is looking for a big TV without spending a small fortune.

This TV was not on display at Best Buy stores in my local area. I purchased it based purely on user reviews. Picture quality is OK to GOOD, but somewhat inconsistent, varying from source to source and from channel to channel. I am constantly re-adjusting the picture settings whenever I change channels or change sources. The remote control is well designed & easy to see and use. Buyers beware that this TV is made in China & shipping label states origin as "Best Buy China" which might be troubling for some buyers. Bottom line: Yes I would cautiously recommend this TV for for the average buyer, based on the decent picture and low price of around $800.

Great quality and price. Purchased for the recent fights and was able to have installed and everyone enjoyed it. The picture was so clear.

my wife and i were shopping for a larger tv to replace the one we were moving to a different room in the house. i went to the store and walked the wall of tvs and saw this model. it looked fantastic, even up against the big name brands. looks great in our house and the picture is super. our previous tv was a smaller insignia as well. definitely recommend this product and other insignia products!

A better TV than I originally thought. It had multiple ports, great sound.... very light in weight.... a good buy!!

Can not beat the price on this great TV for the picture and ease of use was great. Who needs a smart TV, just buy a Blu Ray smart Wi-Fi dvd player and you then have it all.

great price for such a big screen television. It is very easy to use and the set up was easy. I was pleased with the size and exterior color of the frame.

This tv is great, most bang for your buck. Light weight for a 65 inch....great picture & cool features. I would definitely recommend for friends.

Was very happy with the price of this TV, picture looks good, sound is okay, but sadly it is short on plugs and takes about 5 seconds to turn on.

I don't think you can get more bang for your buck in a 65" HDTV. The Roku system is just icing on the cake. Thank you Best Buys for the very pleasant buying experience that was painless and for just $699 you helped me created a nice man cave, The picture quality on this TV will blow your friends away and you will still have enough money in the bank for that PS4 or Xbox 1.

Good quality, sharp picture, fantastic price for a 65 inch LED television

Even in side by side comparisons this Insignia tv does very well! At home you will be impressed with the picture. I am very happy with this tv and feel that it's picture quality rivals more expensive sets. It's not smart but I don't need smart since my blue ray dvd player by Sony is smart... and they work together perfectly! Netflix, Pandora, etc. perform flawlessly. Together with my home theater sound, it completes my media room (15x13) needs.

Great deal for the price, size and quality! This TV actually has great image quality (I toggled with the menu image defaults). Not a crystal clear image, but if that is what you are looking for, then you should get 4k, which is in another price range for this size. Other non 4k comparable models like LG and Samsung have only a slightly better image quality that in my opinion is not very noticeable.
