I’ve always used typical Apple charging bricks out of the iPhone box and decided to switch to a usb-c charger and this block has been so quick to charge. I did need to upgrade my charging cable as well that used a usb-c port but it was well worth it. I appreciate that the charging capabilities are labeled on the back of the charger.

Gets quite warm when using all 3 ports.

This is very close to the 45w rated total that is listed when using all ports. I did find that the charger got quite warm when using all ports (not painful to touch, but uncomfortably warm). This makes me a little worried about leaving it unattended when in use (possible fire hazard?) so I knocked the rating down to 4 stars. Otherwise, it appears to be a very good charger.

I like that it can handle USB- C for laptops separate from my handheld. And there's also a traditional USB port so it's very versatile. Also low cost

I was less interested in finding a charger with power enough to run my laptop, and more interested in a 3-port device which "would play well with others" by not occupying too much room at the outlet plate. This is a good choice, though may be too wide for outlet strips, if that is your application.
