This was the perfect size for what we were looking for. We bought 2 and use one as a fridge and one as a freezer side by side. It comes with the door hinge on the right but it was simple to convert the door hinge to open the other way.

This fridge/freezer converts very well. The size fits perfectly in my space. I love it!

Excellent freezer. We tried to use another brand that was supposed to be garage ready but it could not stand up to the cold. This has been rock solid for a couple of months now with no issue at all. I did buy a temp sensor to keep in the house that will alert me if the unit fails so that way I don't end up with spoiled food. There is plenty of storage, even in a smaller unit like this and I am very happy that I went with a shelved unit instead of a chest freezer. It is so much easier to organize and you don't end up burying things that will get lost and freezer burnt or having to pull up older items to the top. Highly recommend. Extremely easy to move. Great size overall. Good price and very solid results... I actually had to turn the freezer down quite a bit from the dial or else it would be way too cold so you can easily deep freeze in this unit if needed.

Compact size, reversible door, great for small spaces! I love the shelves for easy access and organization.It is also frost free that makes it easier to clean.

Had a much bigger one, was older. And like all old things, it started to fail. Saw this freezer on a Black Friday sale, bought it immediately. Keeps everything frozen solid, as it should! 10/10, def recommend for your garage, or man cave as it could be used as a fridge!

Freezer seems to be good so far. Only problem that I had was that one of the leveling feet was absolutely obliterated at the factory. I tried unsuccessfully multiple times to get a replacement part thru Best Buy.

This fridge was exactly what we needed for our garage. It's able to convert to a freezer so we can do that if we need to, but either way, it's the perfect size. Larger than a mini fridge, but not as huge as a full size fridge. It's pretty basic with no bells and whistles, but works perfect for what it is.

After our 15-16cuft chest freezer went kaput we needed a need one... sadly we didn't catch it in time to save the food. So we decided we wanted upright this go because it's easier to see all the food inside and easier to rotate the items inside so they're used more often. This isn't as big as the other freezer but that works fine, makes it so we don't over stuff the freezer with stuff not used. Gets things cold pretty quick, I'd put some room temp drinks in there for about 30-45min and they're a great temp to drink. I do wish there was maybe one more shelf but what it has is okay and works well enough. I'm over 5ft and I can see the top of the freezer if you want a better idea of height. It isn't in the garage but next to the backdoor and the size is great for the location we wanted. It wasn't very heavy ether to get into the house and set up ready to use. It does say wait a day before putting food in and since we couldn't save the food from the last one that wasn't an issue. So far been happy with this, I just can't say I'd have paid full retail price for it but on a sale its perfect.

Works as advertised. Keeps the food frozen. I have it on my back porch and it maintains a really cold temp. The removable shelves are great. For the price it can't be beat. It's small. But that's what I wanted. In the future if I need another, I will just buy another one. Don't know how long it will last. But we'll see!

This is a well designed and well built appliance that can cut your grocery bills allowing you to stock up on sales of frozen goods. Unlike chest freezers, you can easily get to things without unpacking everything. It uses surprisingly little electricity. If it is like the other Insignia appliances we have purchased, it will have a long service life. I recommend it.

Great size and quite. Hold enough food for a family of 4. Plenty of shelve space

I was recently in the market for a small upright freezer and this was perfect for my needs. I wasn’t too sure about not having shelves/compartments but it turns out I didn’t need them. It runs quiet and fits everything I need. I would recommend this freezer to anyone who needs a small but nice uptight.

Existing chest freezer decided to bite the dust and I need something to replace it. Did quite a bit of research on various similar models and this one fir the bill and its convertible so if there is a need for it to be a refrigerator it can pinch hit. Unpacked, plugged in, set thermostat and within a few hours it was ready for food.
