For the price seemed worth to give a try but has some shortcomings that need attention before can be practical product Pros: Straight forward setup and east connectivity with app Decent video resolution Small size easy placement Nice video list on app stored in cloud No cost or account needed for cloud recording but can't control whats saved or deleted Con: Only works with its app wouldn't be too bad if the app was half decent Very limited options in app no capability to record or save video to local device Video on app only plays in horizontal 1/3 top part of device DEAL BREAKER for me as it utilizes the rest of screen to list cloud recordings In addition no capability to zoom the image Overall could be decent product but needs serious app fixing or add other app/ software support.

Great camera. Super easy install. Great price... However it seemed like the camera got left behind when apple did their latest ios update. There needs to be MUCH better comm7nication with the support techs and they should be upfront with you about what they know about the product. I spent hours on the phone with what sounds like to be off shore techs in a mill. Camera is now working and i love it.. based on these caveats i would recommend to a friend

I first tried a more expensive camera and it was awful. This insignia cam is awesome and great with night vision. I am able to see the motion detected movements to my phone with the app. It is easy to set up. The quality isn't the best but thats what you get when you only pay $60. If you have a budget to stay in, I definitely recommend this camera.

Bought this little device to see what all the hype is on security camera's for home when you are away. This thing is pretty good! Its super cheap and has a decent camera that also works in the dark, not to mention a microphone that goes both in and out in case you want to catch someone. I would def. recommend buying this as a starter security camera, if you are looking for something simple.

Very easy to setup and connect to WiFi and your phone app. I used this to see which of my dogs were marking in the house. The motion detector is great so I didn’t have to watch hours of video to find the culprit. Only reason for not getting 5 stars is because on two separate occasions the video wouldn’t play for me. I can’t say if it’s the camera or my WiFi.

I recently purchased this camera for my husband for Christmas to use with Echo Show was also his gift. We love this Camera! We have it hidden on the inside corner of our front living room window. Our smart phones alert us when their is movement and literally show us the live video. Another awesome feature is that you can actually talk in real time to someone in your home from another city! This is an amazing, innovative camera that is simply great to have, especially for security reasons.

As many have mentioned, the Insignia Connect app seems to one of the main issues. The app doesn’t allow you to delete a recording (automatically deleted once max. videos is reached—- BBY mentioned issue will be addressed in a future update). The camera quality is good (not excellent) for the price and an inexpensive way to remotely monitor your home. I also like the 2 way microphone. What hasnt been clarified on neither Best Buy’s nor Insignia’s website, is the cost when the free 1 month Premium service ends? What’s included in the Premium service vs. standard? So I’m giving the camera 4 stars based on the quality & cost.

Bought this camera to watch the dog during the day. Quality is decent but sometimes the camera does not connect.

Solid camera, easy to use & setup, picture is pretty solid as well

I bought this little camera because I was going on a trip out of the country. The camera works well for the price. It does a good job at detecting motion inside the house. It's so sensitive that it actually would detect my automatic lights turning on inside the house and would notify me via the app. The only con is that the app needs a little more work but it does a fine job for now. I would recommend for the price.

I got this as a deal of the day. Setup was easy, the app easily connected to my account. I have an iPhone XS and can never get any video. My wife has S8+ and gets video fine. My daughter has an iPhone 7+ and has no problem getting video. I get 2 seconds of video then it goes black. Have emailed Insignia multiple times and no response.

Good cameras for the price like that it has two way a speaker

Very easy to set up and get going. Picture quality is pretty good, especially for the money. An inexpensive way to monitor an area and easy to move around.

This spy camera is exactly what I needed and the price was right. I am having difficulty due to limited documentation with finding where the video clip storage is located. Otherwise, I am happy with the two-way mike interaction and the motion detection alerts.<

This was a good camera for the money. It stopped working but was not able to replace it with the same one. Tried a couple other ones but that did not even come close to the quality of this one

Good price for the product it worked for us for 6 months and then the app does not connect the camera once the WiFi configuration was changed - good price but difficult to configure

This device worked great for a year then Insignia sent out an email saying the app would no longer be supported and it quit working. The camera is now useless.

It’s a useful camera and for its price it’s worth to have 1 - we can see our home on the App and at the same time it has a functionality to record and communicate - overall a good buy.

This camera was so easy to set up. Great quality. I love insignia products. The price was good too.
