I had it for less than a year and the back completely shattered due to poor quality. Then after emailing Insignia to ask about a warranty and having them demand to see a receipt for a product that I bought last year (REALLY?!?) and all I was trying to do was get it exchanged or returned (as it should be under warranty) has been impossible. DO NOT BUY INSIGNIA!!

However, allow me to clarify that it is implied on the Manufacturer's Warranty of the item that the receipt is needed in order to apply it. I apologize how the situation turned out to be. You are entitled to your 1-year (365 days) warranty, if you happen to find the receipt you are always welcome to contact back for the warranty validation of the unit.

Sometimes they seem secure but are not latched on correctly and it is hard to tell. Unfortunately I have not found a cap to remedy this problem, so until then I just keep buying replacement ones like this one and thankfully it is not too expensive.
