My daughter needed a converter for her trip to Europe and the price point and reviews were great, and we were not disappointed. Charged her I-phone and curling iron like a charm.

This adapter/converter is a great idea. It's easy to use and seems like it would work fine. Unfortunately it doesn't come with a ground and the European adapter is flimsy when plugged in. I purchased it to bring on a deployment and use it as a one stop shop for my computer and tablet. However, after less than a week the adapter stopped working, forcing me to use the converter option. The converter can only handle charging a small device (iPod/Cell Phone) before overheating. It couldn't charge my tablet for very long and my laptop was rendered useless...making contact with home extremely difficult. The converter eventually started to give way. Thankfully I was able to find a basic adapter to replace this one.

I had heard about nightmares of getting to your location and the adapter being too large, or just not working! We used it on our Nooks, tablets, and phones with no problem!

I bought the converter/adapter for a European vacation. It worked great. It provides all of the connections in a single unit rather than parts like other models. While this makes it a little clunky, it was easy to remember to take and store, on the trip and for the future.

This converter/adapter conveniently contains the plug adapters for a variety of countries all in one unit. I tested this product in Australia and found that all my electronics were able to be charged effectively. It is important to be sure that the switch for converter is selected instead of just adapter on the side of the unit. A reset (complete shutdown and restart) of the electronic item may be required following charging however. This product is a bit heavy to carry, but considering the fact that the plug adapters are all attached to the unit instead of carrying a bag of plugs, it is reasonable for its weight. I would definitely recommend this product for any international travel.

I was pleased overall with the converter. I was unable to use the coverter for my blow dryer or curing iron at our first destination. However, when we got to Paris, it worked fine. I think the problem was with their wiring, not the converter.

This product is a good all in one converter and adapter. It is easy to use and I like the fact that I don't need to carry around a bunch of separate plugs. Unfortunately, I bought this to use in Beijing and it.didnt fit. Luckily, my hotel had both 220volts and 110volts so, I could just plug in.

Insignia - All-in-One Travel Adapter/Converter worked well in the Phillipines, but when I first plugged it in and put it tio use it seemed to heat up and and have a burning smell and was very hot to the touch. After that though, I had no issues with it and it stayed cool and served its purpose.

I got this for a semester abroad, and have found it to work pretty well! No detriment to charge, and works as an plug adapter for various kinds of outlets. It also works as a converter AND an adapter, which is key because some plugs will not accept just a converter or adapter. An example would be that on adapter it works for my laptop charger, but not for my DS charger, which requires converter. The only downside is that a small, 3 outlet power strip doesn't always work with it, but thats not a surprise. Also, its a bit bulky. Overall, good product, though pricey.

Worked great for charging phone and tablet, I like that it has adapter and converter all in same device, and no need to carry separate plug ins for different countries

I bought it to use in Egypt, it is great device and reasonable price

The converter is excellent. It does not become too warm, or fail after several hours. It worked perfectly for a 9 week trip to several European nations with different sockets.

Was easy to use in Norway. Ran a little hot when left it plugged in for an extended period of time.

Used this product on a trip to Asia. It did what it is supposed to do but it did heat up a little while using for prolonged periods of time.

Needed to have something for a trip that was an adapter and converter. This met my needs and was a good price. Worked fine on the trip.

Did not need to use it on the ship we were on but was glad to have it because I used it at the hotel we stayed in.

I was looking for an Universal adapter to use my country's charger here in U.S. This adapter is good in fact great. It's just less than month since I bought this. So far so good

This adapter / converter works very good as a universal travel unit.
