I bought this thinking I needed it but shoot one pull too far away from the pc the thing snaps off from the pc not the wrist. I used it once and went back to just making sure I'm touching the case the entire time instead. It could be handy when placing a hardware piece inside an antistatic bag when you don't have another hand to help other than that if your working on your PC your pretty much always grounded because your touching you case in some sort of way. Maybe the cord just needs to be longer so it doesn't snap off. Your not always going to have what you need within the one foot distance this strap gives you.

I bought this to help teach my kids the right way to build a computer (their first gaming computer). I wanted them to use them and not just see them on the desk. The pinch clips worked great for disconnecting and reconnecting during pc building.

My son bought this to use while he was building a computer. As I have no idea about it, he said it was "good". So, if your 13yo son needs this for his computer building dreams, it's cheap enough and evidently does the job.

This anti-static wristband was worth the purchase to ensure I didn't damage my PC while building it, it can be a little annoying moving around, but what can you expect from being tethered to something, you just have to deal with it!

This might be my first wrist strap for tech, but yes it gets the job done for dissipating ANY static charge. the gator grip could be improved upon, but has to be used on a piece of straightened metal for it to actually grasp onto it.

My son has been building computers and wanted one of these. He likes the adjustable band. Well worth the money for the piece of mind of protecting all the expensive components he works with with electrostatic shock.

Works great. I had lost the alligator clip to my old strap so I bought this one. I took a star off because it's a bit cheap and flimsy. I actually ended up jst taking the clip off this to use on my old one because it is of better quality

The alligator clip slip fits on the end of a post that is on the end of the strap wire. It came off while I was using it, negating the anti static protection I thought I had. You need to be aware and not put too much stress on the wire.

The cord is a little short and the jaw clamp is paper thin metal and subject to breaking. Unless your working on carpet with a wool sweater on this is probably not necessary.

what can I say, it is an anti-static wrist band. Wish the wrist strap was a bit bigger so I could use it for my ankle easier (like to keep my hands free), but other than that just fine.

I used this while upgrading a graphics card and power supply. Once complete, everything worked fine, so this must have worked as advertised. A cheap safe guard if working on your computer.

My son needed this to assist in building a computer. It fit and did the job with no problems. He used it again later while installing additional cards to the build.
