We leave the easy to grip plug plugged in and dock into it from our various devices. This keeps the counters free of dangling cords and bulky plugs as now we store just the cords in the drawer beneath the outlet. There are no bulky charger docks or tangling cords on the counter top anymore. While other makers provide for this same option, I like the design and grip of the Insignia.
