Very happy with this turntable! It came with an Audio Technica stylus. It’s comparable to other beginner turntables and worth it for the price.

I thought I won the lottery finding this "EXCELLENT" open box turntable for my daughter's birthday at $36, so I splurged on some nice Bluetooth speakers to pair with it. If it's too good to be true... It was shipped with no exterior box, no padding of any sort, parts just thrown in the box, no cover on the stylus, the tonearm unsecured, and the platter ON TOP of the tonearm! Everything just rattling around in the box. It's a TURNTABLE Best Buy! I assembled it, but needless to say, it didn't work. Not at all. Wouldn't even turn on. Likely had a broken tonearm and stylus anyway. Granted, it wasn't my local store's fault, but the manager just shrugged it off and offered me $10 off the full-price of a new deck. Hard pass.

Best buy sold me this turntable in “Excellent conditions” but it came with the only interesting thing broken. The audio technica stylus came broken and also the arm rest. They gave me a $4 partial refund. i have seen several customer who bought this products open box “excellent conditions” and also came with a broken or missing stylus. It looks like people are buying this just for the stylus and replace an old needle for the new one and then return the turntables. Best buy sells it again just like that. I didn't mind the scratches but this product is UNUSABLE until i buy a stylus replacement for guess what? $35 online. The same price of this turntable open box in “excellent conditions”. This even shouldn't be sold as in Fair condition.

I was so excited about this turntable because of its great price, but ended up having trouble with it. I liked the size and that it came with a spare belt but it kept skipping nonstop. Even after manually adjusting the weight, it never stopped skipping. Also the cover screeched so bad everytime i opened or closed it.

Thank you for sharing your experience, bale. We understand how frustrating it can be when a turntable doesn’t perform as expected. Skipping issues can sometimes be related to the counterweight adjustment, stylus condition, or belt placement. If adjusting the weight didn’t resolve the issue, checking the stylus alignment and ensuring the belt is properly seated on the metal track might help. As for the screeching cover, applying a small amount of lubricant to the hinges could reduce the noise. If the skipping persists despite troubleshooting, reaching out to Best Buy support or checking warranty options may be beneficial. We appreciate your feedback and hope you find a solution that works for you.Tine | Insignia Support BBY-ExBrand_Insignia

Package arrived in a destroyed box. Inside the box it was missing parts including instructions as well as having a broken dust cover. There was no shipping protection in the box such as packing peanuts or styrofoam. Didn’t even bother testing if it worked I loaded all the pieces back into the box and brought it back for an exchange where I was told I could not exchange it as they don’t have it in any stores.

Hello Samuel, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re very sorry to hear that your Insignia Bluetooth Stereo Turntable arrived in such poor condition, with a damaged box, missing parts, no instructions, and a broken dust cover. That’s incredibly frustrating, especially after finding there was no option to exchange it in stores. We understand how disappointing that entire experience must have been. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and thank you again for your feedback.

Wish i could show pics. So. Again. I have YET to try this device and im sure i will like it but i bought 2 turntables. One for me and one for my neice coming up, so for me im opening my box and set up my turntable to realize i have no powercables and instruction guide at all! Not trying to throw a big fit but imagine if it had been christmas and she had picked the dud. Idk. I know this issue will be resolved but very disapointed by this.

I was excited to gift this for my boyfriend. He noticed when he opened the turntable the holder for the needle was put together by the tight wrap. It came undone in two pieces. Not sure if this was broken in shipment or this was previously returned and then resold. Disappointed but will be exchanging for a new one

Purchased an "excellent" condition open box item, but it showed up without a needle....a pretty essential part of a turntable. Very disappointed. No clear way to give feedback to Best Buy to fix the problem.

Got this as my first turntable in decades. It is a fairly basic table with some nice touches. Some of the standout features not always found on lower priced tables is the counterweight and anti-skate settings along with the auto stop (this is a needle saver!). The ability to swap cartridges and needles is nice versus other lower cost options. While I wouldn't use it normally, I did test the Bluetooth and it worked fine. Only issues I've had with it are very minor. The lift that picks up the tonearm causes the arm to drift to right when raised. Doesn't impact starting a record from song 1, but it does make selecting a song in middle of a side a bit touchy. The entire setup is very plastic looking and feeling but does seem to be an overall well-made table. It isn't going to win any style awards. One feature I wish it had is for the power to auto turn off if no record is spinning after a set time frame. The auto stop is nice, but I sometimes forget to then go and turn the player off and it stays on all night. I did a ton of research and this is really one of the best players under a few hundred dollars. If this is the limit of your budget, don't hesitate!

I have had several turntables over the years and bought these for my daughters so they can start out with some. Pros : Inexpensive Bluetooth Decent Stylus Good Sound Counterweight / Anti-skate features (literally a necessity on any turnatable) Cons: Can't remove the cartridge (so can't install a higher end one) BUT the stylus is replaceable with better Audio Technica ones Has a cheap feel - frame and everything is plastic basically hence the price (not a deterrent to its performance though) Only used bluetooth connection so far but do notice a hum thru the speakers - its present when there is no music playing. It's not overpowering like if you forget to connect a ground wire on a turntable that has one but it is there. Might be less thru the RCA jacks. When lowering the tonearm on a record, stylus shoots forward a lot but only at the beginning of an album. I know how to balance the tonearm and adjust antiskate but no adjustments seemed to fix it. If you lower the tone arm anywhere but the beginning, it does not skip. So if you start from the beginning, I suggest using your hand to put the needle on the record Not a fan of the platter not spinning until the tonearm is over the record. I like the platter spinning all the time but since it's a belt turntable, probably best to cut down on belt wear All in all and great inexpensive turntable when on sale for $60

As someone who gets to check out a lot of tech, I was really curious about this Insignia turntable, especially with its Bluetooth feature at this price point. I've got to say, it's actually a fantastic entry-level option! Getting it set up was pretty straightforward, even with adjusting the counterweight – just take a minute with the instructions. Pairing it via Bluetooth to my wireless speaker was totally seamless, which I love for convenience. The sound quality genuinely surprised me; it's clear and much better than you might expect for the cost, making my vinyl sound great for everyday listening. While it's obviously not aiming for the super high-end audiophile crowd, and I noticed a very faint motor sound up close (didn't hear it through the music, though!), it's incredibly solid for anyone starting a record collection or just wanting an easy way to spin some tunes wirelessly. Thumbs up from me for the value and ease of use!
