||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wish i could show pics. So. Again. I have YET to try this device and im sure i will like it but i bought 2 turntables. One for me and one for my neice coming up, so for me im opening my box and set up my turntable to realize i have no powercables and instruction guide at all! Not trying to throw a big fit but imagine if it had been christmas and she had picked the dud. Idk. I know this issue will be resolved but very disapointed by this.

Damaged and held up with tight wrap.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to gift this for my boyfriend. He noticed when he opened the turntable the holder for the needle was put together by the tight wrap. It came undone in two pieces. Not sure if this was broken in shipment or this was previously returned and then resold. Disappointed but will be exchanging for a new one

No needle!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased an "excellent" condition open box item, but it showed up without a needle....a pretty essential part of a turntable. Very disappointed. No clear way to give feedback to Best Buy to fix the problem.

Great value and easy to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone who gets to check out a lot of tech, I was really curious about this Insignia turntable, especially with its Bluetooth feature at this price point. I've got to say, it's actually a fantastic entry-level option! Getting it set up was pretty straightforward, even with adjusting the counterweight – just take a minute with the instructions. Pairing it via Bluetooth to my wireless speaker was totally seamless, which I love for convenience. The sound quality genuinely surprised me; it's clear and much better than you might expect for the cost, making my vinyl sound great for everyday listening. While it's obviously not aiming for the super high-end audiophile crowd, and I noticed a very faint motor sound up close (didn't hear it through the music, though!), it's incredibly solid for anyone starting a record collection or just wanting an easy way to spin some tunes wirelessly. Thumbs up from me for the value and ease of use!

Good turntable for beginners or portable needs
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had several turntables over the years and bought these for my daughters so they can start out with some. Pros : Inexpensive Bluetooth Decent Stylus Good Sound Counterweight / Anti-skate features (literally a necessity on any turnatable) Cons: Can't remove the cartridge (so can't install a higher end one) BUT the stylus is replaceable with better Audio Technica ones Has a cheap feel - frame and everything is plastic basically hence the price (not a deterrent to its performance though) Only used bluetooth connection so far but do notice a hum thru the speakers - its present when there is no music playing. It's not overpowering like if you forget to connect a ground wire on a turntable that has one but it is there. Might be less thru the RCA jacks. When lowering the tonearm on a record, stylus shoots forward a lot but only at the beginning of an album. I know how to balance the tonearm and adjust antiskate but no adjustments seemed to fix it. If you lower the tone arm anywhere but the beginning, it does not skip. So if you start from the beginning, I suggest using your hand to put the needle on the record Not a fan of the platter not spinning until the tonearm is over the record. I like the platter spinning all the time but since it's a belt turntable, probably best to cut down on belt wear All in all and great inexpensive turntable when on sale for $60

Insignia turntable, exceptional performance/value
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Insignia turntable is a very good value that includes an adjustable tonearm with it's static counterbalance weight and it supports Bluetooth. Also, having a unique headphone jack is a nice touch for private listening. Speed accuracy is very good and confirmed by online test results. Providing a second belt as a back-up is appreciated. Manual operation requires some care in playing records. However, the platter will stop spinning at the end of the record which is a trade-off versus more expensive fully automatic models. Having the Audio Technica AT3600 cartridge with it's conical shaped stylus enables an easy upgrade by purchasing and installing a compatible elliptical stylus that's readily available online. Although the headshell is not removable, doing the stylus upgrade has benefits and there is no need to mount and make adjustments for a new cartridge. As an entry level turntable the Insignia appears to be a real sleeper offering exceptional performance for the money. And by adding the low-cost 4 year extended warranty from the Geek Squad it's a very cost-effective package compared to higher priced turntables. Great way to start playing vinyl records and enjoying their sound.

Posted .Thank you for your comprehensive review. We are delighted to hear that you find the Insignia turntable to be a great value with its adjustable tonearm, Bluetooth support, and unique headphone jack. It's wonderful to know that the speed accuracy meets your expectations and that you appreciate the inclusion of a second belt. We understand that manual operation requires some care, but we're glad the platter stops spinning at the end of the record. Your insights on the Audio Technica AT3600 cartridge and the benefits of upgrading the stylus are very helpful. We are pleased that you find the turntable to offer exceptional performance for the money and that the extended warranty adds to its value. Thank you for recommending it as a great way to start enjoying vinyl records. Keith | Insignia Support

Great first record player
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is a great turntable! The adjustible counter weight comes in handy. It looks great and the materials do not look plastic or cheap. The sound coming from the Audio-technica Stylus is wonderful. For convenience, I connected it to a Bluetooth sound bar and it connected quick and easy.

Probably the best value
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an upgrade to my daughter's 'suitcase player'. Insignia might not be considered 'the brand' but the product can't be beat and the nicest entry turntable in the price range. The first one shipped to me had some issues which BB quickly sent a replacement; excellent customer service. The cartridge, Bluetooth out, phono pre-amp and tome arm adjustment move it to the top of he list. It's straight forward and quick to set up even including my extra tweaking of the tonearm shell and tracking force. One note is that the platter stops and the tone arm stays in the center of the album at the end. You manually return it back to the cueing stand. It plays well and sounds good too. I'm very impressed and think it's worth a try. Insignia should work on their quality and end of line inspection though.

Phenomenal value, especially when on sale!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking for a quality entry level turn table, look no further. The only thing this doesn't offer is an automatic playback system- but for the price (especially when on sale!) it's simply unbeatable. You could upgrade the felt mat to acrylic, install a much nicer cartridge or simply put on a custom elliptical stylus, and still come out far cheaper than the Audio Technica AT-LP60. On top of it being a great value, it has a built in headphone amp (amazing), and bluetooth (if that's something you want to use). You can certainly get a better turntable by spending a lot more money, but for the price, this is incredible.

After long searshing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.ok,I have been looking for turn table player for over 5 months doing my research , I was looking for budget vs quality and after buy and test over 10 turn table ranged from $180 to $60,I found out this is the only one does semi automatic stop! which is a great option, I am not fan of converting songs to mp3 if I want mp3 what is the point of buying turn table !! any way this turn table is great easy to use, very clean design, also and this is very important and it was a big reason of return all other turn tables ,the Bluetooth connection to the soundbar, this one is the only one connected easily to my sound bar others just keep searching and they were a big brands!!!

Great for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this on sale at half off. Was trying to set the tracking force on my grandsons cheap crosley tt. 5.78 grams had to tape 3 quarters together and hang them behind the tonearm just to get to slightly 3 grams with a stylus force scale. I believe he was ruining his collection of lps. So I gave this to him today. While he was out I unboxed setup stylus and hooked it up. I couldn't be more pleased. The only thing that I would change is put on a better quality cartridge. In all fairness I knew what it was and how it would possibly sound before hand. The good: cartridge is adequate bluetooth and headphone jack are a great feature. But the best for him is the auto stop! Now the bad part, the headshell is non removable making replacement more difficult but not impossible the tracking adjustment is a little weird but works. The items description says it's a semiautomatic turntable it's not it just stops at records end I knew this though. In closing anyone who is in the market for an inexpensive turntable even at the 130.00 price point can't go wrong with the features per price ratio. I wholeheartedly would recommend this to younger near teens and anyone else looking to venture into the analog bliss of vinyl sound.

Great turntable
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great turntable especially for the price! Haven’t had any issues with skipping like I’ve heard people say about the suitcase variety. Bluetooth connects seamlessly and sound quality is great! Worth More than it Actually Costs.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Insignia turntable has features that some companies want you to spend $400+ to get on their models. This turntable includes them and make it an incredible value. Easy to setup, connect, and play. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the sound and the ability to adjust counterweight and anti-skate to give the best experience. There is no indication on the face of the turntable to tell others the brand. The only logo is the matte for the turntable, and it can be reversed if preferred. In all this is an exceptional value and will please all but the most intense audiophiles. I haven’t played vinyl in 35 years and I got a stupid grin on my face that came from dropping the needle on the vinyl after three-plus decades.

More value for the price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this as a re-entry into vinyl and so far it's been great. The sound quality is great. It has features I expect on higher-end turntables like a counterweight and an upgradable stylus. The Bluetooth connectivity allows me to connect directly to the speakers. I highly recommend this.

Great Vinyl Starter!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this up on sale for $60 as a first turntable for my son. If you are looking for an inexpensive gateway into vinyl, this is worthy of consideration. You just don't see turntables with counterweights and decent cartridges at that price! The sound is pretty decent (though I've yet to hook it up to a more serious system!) and my son likes that he can listen to it through his wireless headphones. (Honestly...if I wasted any money it was on the powered speakers he never uses!) Way better option than the suitcase models I've seen out there...unless having a handle is super important to you!
