Turntable in the $$50's for Vinyl from the 60's.

I was able to buy this at a great price, so took a gamble. Turntable seems well constructed , tone arm and AudioTechnica cartridge are better than expected at this price. Easy to set up and calibrate. Set tracking force at 2.5 grams instead of 3.5 and seems to do just fine. After about 10-12 hour break-in period for cartridge and stylus, sound quality noticeably improved (This is common for any new cartridge/stylus) . Bluetooth connectivity went well, no problems.Only complaint is a very slight "buzz" from motor. It doesn't carry through to the speakers, and seems to be diminishing over time/use. Using this in my Tiki Bar and is a great addition to my sound system. My guests love putting on old "Exotica" albums from the 60's. This is one of 4 turntables I own (they = $$$$$) /Very happy with this for the price.

Works well, easy set up and great sound. So glad I purchased this player. Easy to connect to bluetooth. Weight is easy to set and my album that skipped with my previous player plays through. So happy.

First, I don't give 5 star unless it's absolutely flawless. This gets my highest recommendation of 4 stars because of a few things. I got it on deal of the day for $80 a month ago. I will start by saying that it has anti-skate and an adjustable counterweight which are needed to get the proper sound. The stylus it comes with is not bad either (it can be upgraded fairly cheaply). If you're on a really tight budget, the fact it has a preamp so you don't need a phono input on a receiver is a plus as well. Or you have the option of 3.5mm headphone jack (I tried it with my Audio-Technica ATH-M50X headphones and the sound is great). I haven't tried bluetooth with it, but I'm sure it's good enough...I personally don't believe you will get the best sound that way. If you are just starting out and want a turntable that won't break the bank and has a few possible upgrades, this is the one. The Sony PS-LX310BT and Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT (or non-BT) aren't worth the extra money over this one. You need to step up to about the $300 range to really get something that's worth it compared to this one (Fluance RT82 for instance). The cover dust cover feels very cheap. The overall build is pretty cheap, but decent enough. There are a lot of things that I could nitpick but again, I paid $80 plus tax...it's just a a value at that price. I look forward to a few years of use out of this before I upgrade to something that costs about 4-5 times as much. Currently I'm running this with a Sony STR-DH190 and a pair of old B&W DM 601 S2's. Also have an older Energy ESW-C10 subwoofer to go with it. The sound is great. I will be returning the Sony receiver though and finding something else that has a little more power and a sub out.

Though it is early as I've only had this for a month or so, I'm absolutely in love with it. Obviously hard to beat for the price... you're getting a "real" turntable with a belt, adjustable tone arm balance, a real AT cartridge, a full size dust cover, AND Bluetooth OUT?? Outstanding value. Sure, it's not an all in one deal with its own internal speakers. But more than half of those that advertise BT are hiding the fact that it has BT IN for its tiny little weak speaker setup, NOT out to your favorite BT setup. And there's SO many great BT available now. As well as RCA out. One very low level dislike, not a huge fan of the felt turntable mat. It's static-y, and sticks to records. So boo hoo, I have to go on Etsy and get a personalized cork and rubber one for $15. Woe is me :) Again just loving this, great turntable and a great price.

0verall a stellar sounding turntable with counterweight and anti-skate adjustments generally unseen in this price range. Certainly much higher sonic quality than the suitcase turntables that flood the market. Instructions for adjusting the counterweight are somewhat unclear. I'm not savvy to compare to expensive turntables that appeal to the pristine audiophile. I have neither the system nor the interest to be in that class. The Insignia is solid enough, is audibly balanced with good bass and treble, and is worthy of digitizing old and vintage vinyl to wav. The line output is somewhat low but ample. It's a Best Buy in-house brand. Sometimes Best Buy lowers prices on certain items for a very short period with hardly any advertising. With only minutes to go I snagged it at a ridiculously low price. Nevertheless, it's a value at standard rate.

This is the best value inexpensive turntable especially when on sale. It is far better than AT60 since it allows cartridge upgrade using counterweight and anti-skate adjustments. Plus it has speed control via optical system with auto shutoff making it better than Fluance RT80/81.

This thing is actually amazing... I'm not sure of the negative reviews.. (The ones where setup is difficult?) This sets up very easy, but I have setup many turntables in my time so maybe it's difficult for people who have not had to put the platter on and and adjust the counterweight etc ever before. (The ones where missing or defective packed item?) If you returned to store, or exchanged for properly working one, then I'm also not sure if that warrants a negative review. I got one that was clean and perfectly funtioning. Bluetooth setup/connection no problems with Sonos Roam and other Bluetooth speakers. I'm super impressed with the quality of this for the price. Snatch this up before someone catches on!! My only suggestion for improvement in the future is to add 78 rpm capability. I would pay extra for that.

Great turntable for the money. Does everything a $500 turntable does. Been using it for about a month, no issues. Even correctly plays records that skipped on an older turntable. Added a Rockville Tubehead headphone amp for maximum metallic fury and speed metal!

The Insignia Bluetooth turntable is a solid entry-level option. It's easy to set up and use, making it great for beginners. The built-in Bluetooth allows you to wirelessly connect to speakers or headphones, adding convenience. The sound quality is decent for the price, though audiophiles might want something higher-end. Some users have noted that the turntable feels a bit lightweight and plasticky. Overall, it's a good value if you're looking for an affordable way to enjoy vinyl with modern features.

It's cheap... speed accurate... but there's better

It is very speed accurate... the removable cartridge is nice. Cons: A lot to list here.... Yes you can put an Ortofon Red on this but you'll notice that it sounds like it's scraping the record a lot at sections because it is The counterweight is annoying to use but it works.... it's just a bit more annoying than a $399 turntable... but then it costs 1/3 the price, so... Bluetooth is quite bad. It really doesn't sound very good The grounding lines on the cartridge are connected. You should not do this and expect it to be good. The head doesn't remove so you can swap it or easily put in the cartridge. Pros: It's very speed accurate. I'll give it that. The center spindle lets you stack a few records on it, which is good Sound is fine coming from it. Not that bad but I wish the connectors for the cartridge were better. I noticed mine just popped off on one of them one day. I mean, it's $129 so if you need a budget turntable, it's not horrible. It's better than the generic cheap ones at Target. The speed accuracy is really good on this. Many reviewers saying this and I completely agree. If you're a stickler (as I am) for this, you won't be disappointed. But I didn't like how it worked with my Ortofon Red cartridge constantly scraping on the record to where I couldn't keep the lid down without hearing it... But if you're looking for an amazing player, save up a little and get the $399 Audio Technica model. Bluetooth on that has AptX if you want bluetooth. For a teenager who casually listens to records, this turntable is fine. But it's really a starter one. Don't expect it to be amazing even though it has a counterweight and removable cartridge. You'll be disappointed.

Best bang for buck for quality and features this record player has if there’s any static when using blue tooth it’s not the needle. Simply more your phone away from the same table and it will be clear so long as your record is clean . Awesome product got it as a gift and gf loves it set up took all of 5 minutes maybe . Come with a lot of high dollar features as well as a counter weight and pad for spinner couldn’t be happier with purchase. Upgraded her from the suit case player alto this one hooked up a jbL charge , was thinking of bookshelf speaker but simply don’t see the need sounds good looks clean, simple, classic and modern all in one well priced package.

I grew up listening to albums but never jumped on the vinyl revival—until now. After picking up a few free records, I decided to give it a shot and this Insignia turntable has been fantastic. Easy setup, solid build, and it sounds great whether I’m using Bluetooth or wired speakers. I’m already a dozen albums deep into rebuilding my collection, and this player has made it a fun, seamless experience. Perfect starter table with just the right mix of classic feel and modern convenience.

Hearing of Meatloaf's passing, I was inspired to play the vinyl record, "Bat Out Off Hell", I possessed for years along with many other records. No longer owning a turntable, I sought out and purchased the Insignia Turntable. It easily connected to my existing sound system. I was impressed with the overall sound quality at a very affordable price, and the enjoyment it has provided.

I bought this turntable on an open box sale after being dissatisfied with a crosley voyager around the same price point. Its exactly what I needed to get into vinyl collecting without breaking the bank. The sound quality is great and the instructions were easy to understand. Also, being an open box sale, everything was there, wrapped in its original plastic. I'm very happy with this turntable.

I was looking for an affordable player for about 6 months. I bought 2 other players that i returned to other stores. Both had skipping problems. This product is well worth the price for the options it comes with, anti skip and an actual counterweight. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for quality at a budget price.
