The price of this battery and charger was much less than the same Xbox product. It works just as it is advertised and I had no difficulty connecting and getting the battery to charge. I would definitely recommend this to another user with an older Xbox. You can get used parts, but for the about the same price you get a brand new battery and charger.

Why pay full price for an Xbox branded item when you can get a good quality and less expensive Best Buy/Insignia version for less? I picked up two of these for my kids and their controllers because I was tired of replacing AA batteries. Plug and play. The cord is long enough to use from the couch when plugged in. Simple and worth the purchase price.

What a nice product for such a wonderful price! I wasn't too sure how well it fit and work, but oh boy! It charged my xbox 360 remote in a couple of hours and didn't have to charge again for a reasonable time! Kids were really impressed that they can keep playing while it's still being charged. It comes with a long cable that makes it using it while charging possible...I wish I had bought another one as backup. All in all great product and what a great price!

This item is pretty inexpensive for what you get. A battery and a charging cable for less than $15. It keeps my kids from stealing all my remote control batteries too which is a bonus for me. I've saved more than the item cost in batteries in the month that I have had the item. I would recommend this item to anyone else that doesn't have a charging dock. Even if you do have a charging dock this is nice because they can still play while the controller is charging.

Batteries last awhile and charge quickly. Keeps you playing without the wait. Can play with it plugged it while charges. Also saves you money on having to buy regular disposable batteries. Full charge lasts about 20 hours for me.

This product is great worth every penny. No need to buy the other brand the Insignia charge and play kit for Xbox 360 works just as good, but it's better because the price is better than the other brand. No point on on spending money replacing batteries buy this Insignia charger.

This item is easy to hook up. It not only allows one to play the game with no batteries or battery pack but it also charges up the battery pack while playing a video game. Charge is quick and long lasting. I am very pleased with this item.

This product works very well. The cord has long enough reach from my chair to my console. I am glad I was able to purchase an extra rechargeable battery before they stopped making them altogether.

I was worried that this would not be compatible with my controller as I bought the controller a few years ago. No issues - charges right up and the battery pack is snug.

Xbox 360 items are getting harder and harder to find. This is essentially a new battery with a charging cable and for the price, this item can't be beat.

The cable to charge your control is long so you can sit and charge and play at the same time.the battery is helpful too but it's not rechargeable on the charging stand you have for the controllers..

Kids lost their original Xbox charger, so this was a good alternative for the price. Works like it’s supposed to.

In the middle of an intense battle and your controller starts to die, no time to switch controllers, what to do..! This kit has saved me in more than one situation, just quickly grab it & plug it in to your controller, & you're good to keep on going, I love it..! I don't use it as my primary way of charging my controllers, but I leave it connected to my Xbox all the time, 'cause you never know when you'll need it..! Also love the long cord!

This is very nice, long chord quick charge and we can play while it charges. I like the chord length while connected

It works great! The build is really good and sturdy. Cable thickness is the same, if not thicker than the original one that came with the xbox 360. The only thing I would have liked is that if it was black. It has a long length for the cable as well to allow you to play from your couch that may be further away from the tv.
