I realize that this diffuser is too small for portrait work, but for macro photography, it works great! It's lightweight and adjustable.

Great size, and was in stock. If you are looking to step up your amateur portrait photography this is a must, you can get a smaller one but this is perfect for a canon 430EX or higher flash, it does not work with a pop up flash. Also, folds up it fits nicely in my lowepro camera bag.

Anyone looking for a nice soft light for portraits will love this. Very inexpensive and well built considering the price. I’ve used it several times and while it’s kind of bulky and may cover some camera sensors depending on your camera and flash, it’s a great option for the cost.

Nothing especially notable; it's affordable, adjusts to your remote flash unit, and helps to eliminate harsh shadows caused by intense flash. You still have to aim it well - it diffuses, not totally does away with flash. But portrait photos are improved, most notably with subjects against a light (white, off-white, yellow) background.

This is pretty handy. It works fairly well but t could use some sort of wire frame to help it hold its shape. I added a coat hanger frame to hold it open and it helps keep the light output consistent.

Very basic diffuser with simple attachment for hot shoe flash unit. Used the included Velcro strap to attach to Nikon sb-600. Did a very nice job of softening and slightly distributing flash. The price was definitely right. I actually wanted the smaller unit from the same manufacturer but this was all that was immediately available. It is somewhat large and might appear a bit unusual to photo subjects when attached to the flash unit.

Bought this diffuser in hopes of using it for macro photography. Worked as it is designed, but was just a little too big and cumbersome for the setup I had planned. But still great for diffusing for softening light in portraits.

Comes with a handy travel pouch... I literally carry this thing with me everywhere. It conveniently folds down completely flat, and the price was very reasonable. Gives you soft light, without having to carry around large and awkward umbrellas. Perfect for run and gun shooters. I use both off camera and mounted on top of my sony a6000. its a perfect size, not too big and not too small. I highly recommend.....

This 12x8 diffuser is just a little awkward to use but it is a great light diffuser. Being large it allows the light from the flash to spread out just a little more, and be a little softer than my smaller one. It is convenient and can be easily carried in a camera bag or pack. In a studio, use an expensive set up, in the field, use this. Recommended.

For filmmakers on the go, this is a good cheap alternative to big/traditional diffusers you often see on sets. However, make sure you're using a small/standard lightbulb on installation. My spotlights have rather wide bulbs and I had to switch it out in order for it to fit. other than that, have a blast!

I have used this on many of my senior photo sessions make wonderful soft light and compact for travel. Highly recommend

This is a very easy diffuser to slip over the flash and use. It does a nice job! I use it at school when lighting in the hallways or classrooms isn't bright enough and it does a great job with both group and individual shots.

Lightweight, packs flat and easy to use with any flash. You can diffuse the light from your flash, and take great pictures when you're on the go. Use this diffuser with an off camera flash and your pictures will look terrific!

Nice to have a portable flash diffuser but this was a little bulky. It does work and ok for the price.

This little softbox Works fantastic! Just slips right over your Speedlite and you can angle it and whatever Direction your Speedlite naturally articulates. Depending on the experience you have with controlling light, this can be a very versatile tool and extremely handy in unique situations. It has the ability to throw a very soft light given the settings and distance the subject. It's also nice because you can take it off camera and place it anywhere as fill light discreetly. Works great on camera to softening the light making everyday portrait photography look just a little bit better then without it. For the price it's certainly a good tool to keep in your camera bag.

I bought this diffuser for my speed-light. It performs very well and softens the hash flash perfectly. I love that it is foldable and can slide into my camera bag without taking up much space at all. The only downside is, the construction of it isn’t the strongest. A part sapped on my first use but it doesn’t affect the way it work.
